  1. They have in the past, but not many EB1's so it's hard to know for sure, there are very few of us around. Hopefully others in different categories have had their IL's today as well. There's one other on VJ that I've seen get an IL today and s/he was EB2 (interview date late July IIRC).
  2. Just looked at @TVac's previous posts, seems his PD is August 2021. Congrats! Hope it all goes smoothly. Got our medicals booked for 10 days time, they didn't have as much of a wait as I'd expected just FYI.
  3. I know I'm EB1 but I thought I'd share in case it's useful - just got IL, interview on 17th July (London). DQ'ed 21st April.
  4. Yep, I was wrong, not the end of the month this time - just got ours! I’m EB1 but thought I’d share on here for anybody tracking when the batches of letters come out for London. Interview on 17th July, I was DQ’ed 21st April.
  5. IL received! Interview on 17th July (London).
  6. I have one - happy to help if I can. It’s a lot of paperwork and time to build a good case, but if you’ve already applied for EB2 you may have some of that done. You need a good lawyer, so use your current one if you rate him/her, and get a new one if not. It took us months to compile everything but that time was worth it. From application to getting my passport back with visa in was 3 weeks so super quick and speedy once we’d done all the legwork and presented a compelling case (London consulate, with PP). Any questions let me know, good luck.
  7. Usually, yes for London (no idea about other consulates). Last 3 dates were 24th Feb, 27th March and 26th April, so once a month at the end of the month. Since last summer there have only been a couple of months that they sent out twice (i.e. December - perhaps because of Xmas?), but generally IL's are sent out in a batch once a month.
  8. I've now been told by two lawyers that the rough cut off date for most consulates is around the 5th of the month for IL's, but that is unofficial and only what they reckon from years of experience! So they could well be wrong, and I suspect it also depends on the visa category - as spouses you may get priority over other categories that were DQ'ed earlier.
  9. You’ve misunderstood the process, if your wife is outside the US then AOS doesn’t come in to it. This page lays it out for you, read all the steps to understand the process you’ll be going through to get her IV - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition.html Good luck.
  10. What does that chart refer to, just K-1’s?
  11. OK, so 13 months is the quoted processing time, hopefully you won't have to wait much more. Good luck.
  12. You’ve not said which category you’ve applied under, but whichever it is you’re still well under the average processing time (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/). Nothing you can do but wait, hopefully it won’t be too much longer.
  13. See the response to when you asked this last time, you need to wait for your PD to become current. Once it is, it will then depend on the consulate, as interview wait times vary, and will no doubt have changed by the time you're in the queue. Good luck.
  14. You said you didn’t include your police cert though (only the translation of it). You should get an RFI for anything missing but I’d send it off asap anyway personally.
  15. One cover sheet is fine (that’s what I did and got DQ’ed). Yes, you needed to include the police cert (a copy of it, not the original) as well as the translation. You said ‘police certificate’ (singular) but also mention a family - did you submit certs for everybody over 16? And this page says colour copies - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing/scanning-and-uploading-tips.html/ If you give a list of everything you submitted, forum members can check it for you.
  16. 70 days is great, sounds like it's like London and has got back to pre-pandemic service levels. As you say, other places like Montreal or Islamabad have huge backlogs still. Hopefully we'll both be interviewing at about the same time. 🤞
  17. So am I reading it right, that's it's about 60 days from DQ to interview date? If so, that's excellent, probably about the quickest you'll get anywhere (similar to London). People in other places are having to wait a year or even longer for an interview.
  18. Nice to see another EB1 join us @whitewizard! Good luck to you.
  19. Neither of those are proof of residency though, they're only proof of citizenship. To prove that you live in the UK you'd need things like a rental agreement, bank statements, utility bills etc.
  20. The problem is, it's not a serious health issue or life threatening for either the petitioner, or the beneficiary. It's certainly worth a try but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
  21. Correct. This is a really old thread, there are more recent EB2 NIW ones that would be worth a read.
  22. Ok, so yes it’s a different process. Start a new thread and hopefully somebody with experience of your category can help. Good luck.
  23. Ah, ok, sounds like you’ve applied via a family route? This thread is for EB applicants and we have a different process. We can’t upload our docs, we have to mail them, and can’t see the status of them online. I’d ask in the forum relevant to your visa category and hopefully somebody can help. Good luck.
  24. If you haven’t had the email then how do you know they’re approved? When did you send them?
