Well, you just got your first upvote for being an alert member who has asked a thoughtful question. Thanks for your endorsement. Others are more tuned in and can comment authoritatively. We'll move posts if they're not in an optimal forum. You guessed pretty much the right place to post, initially. USCIS, and the consulates, and CBP all thrive on the truth. A 4-month front-of-store job certainly isn't your fiancee's life's work, and sensible authorities will realize that. As the incomparable pushbrk says, "Reading carefully, interpreting literally, and answering completely & honestly is the key to your success during this entire process." Edited to add: Sincere thanks from ALL of us for your clear identification of who is who and giving your ages right up front. Everyone should emulate you in doing that.

Henry, welcome to the forum! By the way, your unanswered duplicate thread from hours ago has been removed; it's disappointing not to receive replies, but weekends here are slower. Folks will undoubtedly chime in. You ask a good question. "A job is a job," it seems, or should seem, if it was legal; others here will comment on the potential USCIS reaction at the petition phase. I'm purely guessing that if USCIS has an issue with her job, an RFE (request for evidence) will be sent to you, at which point you could respond by explaining the employment circumstances in detail. The big matter would be whether she ever used cannabis. If she has used it, she must be truthful and admit to this during the medical examination before her visa interview, and bear the rightful consequences. Again, others here will be along with input, so stay tuned.

Thrilling (?) non-GS/ES Saturday report, see man: Awoke with hip feeling not as hosed as on Friday, limp less we man. Breakfast was 2 slices of last night's 'roni 'za, ingest we man. Made donation-drop #1 while GS-ing/ES-ing, efficient we man. This included Many (2+2+2) Manyzens of Mama T-B.'s blouses, lots man. It included the same number of coated wire hangers, we're sick of those man. Had to go inside store to get them to roust a donation dude, inefficient man. Donation dude then had to get a new donation book, man. We were quite sweaty already by this time, perspirational we man. We didn't drink anything, no man. Made it to Mama T-B.'s old casa still with time for lunch, free man. Lunch was S+Ms, garlic bread, green-pea salad, and the driest sugar-free chocolate muffin ever, ingest we man. We didn't drink anything, no man. Continued out-clearing closet #1, si man. Lady texted to buy furniture for daughter's new condo, hopeful we man. Lady, husband, daughter, & son all showed up within minutes, glee we man. Daughter didn't give a poop about the whole process, no man. Everyone admired the furniture but she muttered, "I can't take it with me, no man," man. They ended up buying just $Many's worth of small decorations that we hadn't considered selling, man. We did overcharge them a little, didn't complain they man. We've rarely been so disappointed over probably our last chance to sell furniture, sigh man. We busied ourself in out-clearing closet #1, Mama T-B.'s blouses man. We just made donation-drop #2 before closing, speed we man. This included Many (2+2+2) more Manyzens of Mama T-B.'s blouses, lots man. It included the same number of coated wire hangers, we're sick of those man. We then returned to her old casa, punishment-glutton we man. We didn't drink anything, no man. We continued to busy ourself in out-clearing closet #1, Mama T-B.'s blouses man. We got Many (2+2+2) more Manyzens of her blouses bagged, couldn't do one more man. We also got off-urinated and threw all cookware/bakeware into a box, fit perfectly man. We just made donation-drop #Many (2+1) before closing, speed we man. This drop too included the same number of coated wire hangers, we're sick of those man. We hurt ourself hoisting the box & bags into the donation bins, what else could we suffer man. Of course, this is the place of the "scan the image & get your e-mailed receipt," yeah right man. We couldn't do it because sun was reflecting off window, hose the scan-imaging man. An employee finally helped us, tear sign off window and put it in normal light man. We were completely drenched in sweat and a rather unhappy camper, man. From there, we went to our casa, finally man. Miu accosted us for food/treats/food/attention, accostive miu man. We finally chugged a large bottle of Powerade Zero grape flavor, not nearly enough man. We sat at computer under ceiling fan to check why a buyer stood us up, check we man. Just then, Mama T-B. called and asked for a progress report, awful timing man. We were in foul humor and unfortunately let it out when she lectured us about the obvious, sigh man. We need to apologize later, si man. Finally got a shower, blessed destinking for we man man. Din-din was the last Many (2+2) slices of 'roni 'za, ingest we man. A siesta was taken and actually overslept afterward, zzz we man. We again failed to contact movers, we man. We haven't tallied the number of blouses donated, no man. It is at least in the mid-to-high Many00s, guesstimate we man. Several Many00 had shoulder pads sewn in, observe we man. Brands ranged from KMart's house brand to Liz Claiborne and even a Gloria Vanderbilt, observe we man. Given more time, we could've taken these to a women's resale place & earned $, water under bridge man. No party with the rubias tonight, no man. Even with the 'za, we wonder how much more weight we've lost, losing battle (pun intended) man. We should spend Sunday taking small stuff to our casa, clothing bedclothes decorations man. There goes our formerly decluttered casa, sigh man. And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.

Visa refused in Tokyo
TBoneTX replied to fiftytwo05g's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
That's wonderful news! It's tough to fight a consulate, as I still vividly remember with white-hot anger. Your post will prove valuable to many. Thank you for your time and effort in composing and posting it. -
Saturday GS/ES report, see man: We attended all Many (2+1) of these, integrity-filled we man. Each yielded the take, see man: -- 2 shirts for Uncle T-B., possible mow-lawning shorts for us = $Many ($2+2+1), deal man -- Many-oz. bottle OUAI dandruff shampoo = $1, steal man -- partial box Kleenex, 2 rolls masking-tape = half + half-of-half a buck, steal man Total = $Many ($2+2+2 + [half + half-of-half a buck])

It would be such justice -- real, and poetic -- if Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit got what was coming to her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Don't Overlook Hillary Clinton [...] The media's focus these days is on President Trump's possible cameo in the so-called "Epstein files" and Obama's role in advancing the Russia collusion hoax. These stories crossed when DNI Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe released compelling evidence that six weeks before his term concluded, Obama pressed the intelligence community to ignore its previous assessments and instead rely on the sham Steele dossier and an ambiguous and unverifiable sentence fragment to smear Trump and undermine his presidency before it began. But let's not forget the Clinton campaign's role in this kabuki dance. [...] https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2025/08/01/dont_overlook_hillary_clinton_153122.html

DCF in Vienna - From Start to Finish
TBoneTX replied to ViennaPete's topic in Direct Consular Filing (DCF) General Discussion

It might mean "send everything to the consulate for the next steps."

I-751 Questions for our case
TBoneTX replied to Janelle K's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Very true. Any estate documents -- wills, medical & statutory powers of attorney, HIPAA releases, whatever -- make superlative evidence for ROC, and they're even more valuable to have in "life." See if your state has templates on file; if not, it's well worth finding a lawyer to draft them for you. -

Thrilling Friday-on-Saturday report, see man: Bedtime HSM consequented* in wonderful zzz, zzz we man. *cool new verb, invent we man However, hip pained us from the start throughout the day, man. We were limping like an illegitimate male child all day, stared at by others we man. Got very late start, groggy we man. Rarely have we seen miu more demanding in the a.m., brush demanding miu twice we man man. Free lunch was chicken tenders, chicken noodle soup, mac/cheese, and the infamous sugar-free vanilla pudding, ingest we man. We conclude that we must move all empty boxes to one side so we can see what's truly left, bugged we man. Busied ourself further out-cleaning closet #1 and a filing cabinet, much recycling man. One customer returned for a cheap item, return she man. She brought only 2/Many'rds of the amount, confused she man. She is to return on Saturday with balance plus more for another cheapish item, fingers crossed man. Another customer was supposed to show for a cheapish item, no-show she man. Her mother was hospital-discharged early, unexpected man. We should connect on Saturday, hopeful we man. We should have begun calling movers, failure we man. We'll see who's available when, hopefully not too much time man. Took break early afternoon to take Mini-B. to a skool orientation, more of a pep rally man. We hadn't seen wee man for nearly a month, no see we man wee man man. He said that we and the T-B.-mobile stank, agree perspirational we man with wee man man. Mama T-B. called, unhappy senior she man man. Today would've been her Many'th anniversary with Papa T-B., sigh man. She noted that today would have been the perfect day for her to die, sigh man. Faced quandary in regard to din-din, choices man. Opted for a carryout 'roni 'za, seemingly good choice man. Consumed 2/Many'rds of it for din-din, ingest we man. Might have more for breakfast or din-din Saturday, dual ingestation we man. Miu demanding upon our casa return, demanding miu man. Got hourlong siesta, zzz we man. Miu demanding throughout the eve/night, brush miu a Many'rd time we man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. For Saturday, we have itineraried a church GS, an ES, and an MF GS, multifamily man. These will also take us very near Salvation Army for donation-drop, convenient man. We must arise early (ha man) and maintain our strength for more out-cleaning, getting so sick of this man. And that was/is our thrilling Friday, report we man.

Only difference is price, though, $i man? We actually think that the south-of-border ones taste better than the U.S. ones, tasteful we man. We just began using "Crest + Scope," ES purchase man. It's a mid-sized tube, an interim change from our monster-sized tubes of Polar, from Ecu man. Current teethbrush* is an Oral B Many, not merely an Oral B Many, also from an ES man. *Why do we know that the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas, huh man? Because if it were invented elsewhere, it'd be called a teethbrush, si and ha ha man. If made in Poland, it would be (2ManyMany) ManyManyMany-ManyManyManyMany, surmise we man. Or perhaps (ManyMany1) ManyManyMany-ManyManyManyMany, surmise alternately we man. Just like every one of us has a "property of U.S. Government" ballpoint pen, huh huh huh man?
-
Observation, see and see we man: Our current toothbrush*, toothpaste*, and bath soap* are all made in the U.S., observe we man. *all bought at various ESs, financially savvy we man This is a first since many years ago, note we man. Previously, one, two, or all Many came from Ecu, Mexico, or a combo, si man. The current situation feels alien to us, pun intended man.

Thrilling (?) Thursday-on-Friday report, see man: We up-doped on massive bedtime HSM, self-treat we man. We slept through almost the entire night and awoke groggy but much better, relief man. Dropped Many (2+1) bags of hangers at dry-cleaner, appreciative they man. Dropped donation at preferred site, drop we man. Free lunch was veal parmigiana, salad, broccoli*, and pecan pie, ingest and hose A1c we man. *did not gastrointestinally attack us, mild surprise man Our leftover $1 was expended on a half-pint of chocolate milk, imbibe we man. Spent literally half the afternoon waiting for prospective buyer, thanks a lot man. She wants a lamp but brought only $Many ($2x2x2x2 +2+2), and man. She also brought her daughter/granddaughter and had no way to fit lamp into her car, man. We'll see if she shows up on Friday, yeah right man. Promising buyer of Tuesday decided that he can't buy anything else, man. We were really irked by all this, wonderful world of retail man. Spent literally over an hour as Mama T-B. picked clothes by foto and phone, frustrated senior she man. She melted into disconsolate tears at least twice during this, sigh man. At the end, she said, "If I survive to wear any of this, which I pray I don't, I'll remember how horrible this process was, si man," and again went into tears, how could we find any response to that man. We did then begin to out-clear the rejected clothes from closet #1, some progress man. We ran out of time to get them to our #2 preferred drop site, sigh man. We ended up giving them to Goodwill, regarding their unprintable Web receipts man. We turned in Mama T-B.'s abandoned HSMs to the pharmacy with written return receipt, conscientious we man. The pharmacist was impressed with our diligence, impressed he man. Returned to our casa at decent hour, service insistent miu we man. Enough sunlight remained to mow front lawn, already pitted-out we man. Our hip hurt at first but then got better during, interesting man. Din-din was Modified Tuna Glop, ingest we man. A siesta was then taken, needed zzz for we man man. One minute before alarm, pained hip awoke us, ow man. No party with the rubias tonight, no man. Technically an ES to attend on Friday, unsure we man. We could do it and another on Saturday, conclude we man. Must stay free to meet with potential lamp-buyer, yeah right man. Must also take Mini-B. to hyskool program for entering stoodents, up-growing wee man man. We have not seen Mini-B. (or ex-Mrs.-T-B.) since before they left for Ecu, nearly a month man. Chief job is to vacate Mama T-B.'s unit, starting to weigh on us man. Must arrange for donation-taker & personal-move trucks, sigh man. There's a GS in FST, can't go sigh we man. Hip still hurts, more bedtime HSM man. And that was/is our thrilling Thursday, report we man.

Hamas exploits children with genetic diseases for 'starvation campaign' The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories revealed Thursday, through its English-language X platform to the international community, yet another instance of Hamas manipulating photographs of children with genetic illnesses to promote its "starvation" narrative while targeting Israel with false accusations. Recent days have witnessed widespread circulation of images featuring 14-year-old Abdul Qader Al-Fayoumi across social media platforms through Hamas-affiliated channels, with claims that Abdul's medical condition resulted from Gaza starvation.
