  1. Hello everyone and thanks you for your quick replies ! @TBoneTX I will be filling the DCF from France ! @appleblossom : not yet, but i saw on other discussions that some people sent proof of marriage attached to the very first email (the one where we ask if we are qualified for DCF) @Lemonslice I didn't want to complicate things so I had my passport and ID corrected as it is in my birth certificate... I think I will list the first name i have always used my entire life ( the one with the missing letter) in the I30 section "Other name used" (Provide all other names you have ever used, including aliases, maiden name, nicknames). What do you guys think , is it a good idea ? Have a nice day !
  2. Hello ! My husband (USC) and I are planning to file a DCF and I would like to know if we have to translate all the documents into english ? All my documents are in French (birth certificate, child birth certificate, our IDs/passports etc). Also what other documents do we need to send the embassy through the 1st email ? Thank you for your help ☺️
  3. Thank you Tbone for your quick reply ! Hope other people will comment my post
  4. Hello everyone 🙂 ! My husband (US citizen) and I (spanish citizen) are planning on doing a DCF for an I130 petition. I have a question though, on my birth certificate my first name has the letter "c" but i have always written my name without the "c" like in my ID card, passport, bank accounts, taxes documents, my jobs, my schools, doctors, my linkedin, flat leasing contract, everything really etc. The only documents with the "c" in my name are my birth certificate, my mariage certificate, my babys birth certificate and my national health card . Why ? I think because these 3 documents followed how my first name is written on my birth certificate. Plus, everyone write my name without the "c" including my family. I don't really remember how and why the "c" is missing from some documents but never really thought about it, i just know thats how i always wrote my name.... and it was somehow convenient because i have a long name .... My question is : do you think this might be an issue ? Can I get an negative reply from the DCF or even the I130 petition ? Thanks a lot for your help !
