Yeah my dad will be filling the waiver for my mom once he is here next week.

Keep in touch and please let me know when your parents get IL, this way at least I will know if the dates are moving. My parents go DQ on Jan 4, 2022 to be exact.
And we both have been waiting for more than 10 months for IL.....

I also heard due to the lack of staff and huge backlog they are tackling right now. The expedite is not being actually sent to the concerned Consulate also atleast for India(Mumbai) and they just straight away sent a denied email. Because I tried expedite 3 times with Medical reason. The first time I submitted in Oct they took around 40 days to review the request. And the last 2 times I sent I got a response in a days time that it is denied.

Current case review time: As of 27-DEC-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 24-SEP-2021.
 
We are almost at the end of September guys. So most of us who are yet to be reviewed should be done this week. 🤞

We got DQ'd! What a relief...submission date 09/23.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but I submitted expedite request Nov 17. It was accepted on Dec 20 and sent straight to the embassy. We were DQ Dec 9.

Op, pregnancy and for grandparents is not an emergency. Don’t waste money

You can definitely try! But beware that tourist visas are taking a long time too.
Also, for a tourist visa your parents need to prove strong ties to home country, but they have already shown immigrant intent. They might have that extra obstacle. And also, it might be interpreted as your parents are coming to work. 
But like I said, they can try! Remember that this application is completely theirs, so there is no invitation letter, etc etc

Pregnancy and a visit for grandparents is not an emergency.

I've not seen one for grandparents.  Expedite for the father of the baby is much different.

Personally, I think your best chance to have the grandparents around is for your wife to give birth in India.
 
Your wife's pregnancy would not be an emergency if it were your or her case. It certainly isn't an emergency for your parents.

But, pregnancy is not an emergency....especially normal pregnancy.  Many consulates will accept only emergency cases.

I did log into the portal and it doesnt have any messages in message center display on top. Only change I see on their is the status accepted in front of documents column

That's great, Congrats!! Looks like they have speed up the September train. My initial submission was 17th for AOS docs and 29th for the IV documents.  🤞

I would like to know if there is any progress happening at Mumbai Consulate for the interview. If anyone has been to interview lately please let me know what DQ date is currently getting interviews at Mumbai consulate.

I don't think they are doing the same day oath anymore. I just got done with my Oath Ceremony today in Atlanta. It was 1 month after my day of interview. Finally finished my journey with USCIS after 5 years.
