That's what I was wondering, that is too crazy. How do you not see that the name in the letter and the applicant do not match? It's puzzling. I am trying to find out but If I have to go to an office to bring my Green Card and Social Security as proof then let it be so, but someone is getting in trouble. 

I just found out that someone else and I share the same Alien Number which is extremely weird for me! I found out when i got an online response thru the app regarding the status of my application and saw that the letter was directed to a different subject example my name is Jason Smith but the letter read Dear John Doe. Does anyone know what happens with this? I was told a Tier 2 Officer will be reaching out in 7 days guaranteed.

Actually I just spoke to a tier 2 officer who Submitted a service request ticket to my local ASC for my Biometrics because 90 days have past without any update. I believe that is what they are being told told to say, but sometimes when calling you may already be speaking with a tier 2 officer without even knowing. Also believe it or not try your best to sound as polite and friendly as possible because it does play a big role when wanting good results.

Spoke again to them on behalf of spouse - and this time, the sprightly representative who put in the service ticket also gave me an turn around time of 1 week  (i.e. 28th of this month) and that if I don't hear anything by then , to call them back. She even used the word 'expedited appointment processing'. Let's see what happens next.

Great News, but why wait? its worst staying outside of the US as a greencard holder rather than as a US citizen, just saying. Sounds like you care about a vacation than getting your citizenship especially during these times where youll never know when you will get the next letter. I would not play with that if I were you.

from what I've heard, There is a possibility they will reuse our biometrics I say that because of the estimated time since at this point of the game it would have changed to a later date if we where to get new ones taken. Thats my take on this situation, not the same for others and I might be wrong

Yes, I was told the same and my ASC opened July 20th so I am constantly checking my email and the status online in case I get a Bio notice before the date, or if I have to call to expedite that process. My estimated completion time says January 2021, hoping things pan out as shown will be praying for everyone and hoping to get great news this week

Amazing! Congratulations and yes hopefully you get to hit 2 birds with one stone. My case says January 2021 but I have not seen any progress at all on my end.

To anyone waiting for movement call USCIS... the first officer will basically tell you to be patient.. then say the words 'I'd like to speak to a Tier 2 Officer'
That person has more information and can write a note of inquiry to your local office.. a call to action so to speak...
There may or may not be reasons for the delay based on case load but the Tier 2 officer said once the notice is put in to the field office to give it about 3 weeks.. and if there is still no action to call back...
 
Like all things it depends who you get on the phone and how polite you are... but the Tier 2 officers are quite helpful..

exactly, being scared is not an excuse to not bear arms. In fact lots of people choose to be conscientious objectors not because of their belief or what not but because they are afraid thats all, but then again still not an excuse.

I really dont get their reasoning, first they said they were running low on funding. Then they said applications have decreased due to covid, therefor causing the first thing I said which was funding followed by saying they needed to furlough 13000 people because they  would not be able to sustain operations for this year. They were confronted with the matter and  found out that they were actually ending the year with a surplus, USCIS then turns around and say They are no longer going to furlough all the 13000 employees because there are enough applications to sustain the operations,  and now theyre slowing down everything? It just doesnt make sense to me, How do you go from not having enough, to maybe running out to now having enough to sustain but have to slow down like wth!!! sounds to me like theres more to this because I feel like theyre piling lie on top of lie on top of lie. 

I don't want to be this guy but why applying to get US citizenship if you don't believe in defending the US constitution? Green card gives you 99% of the benefits of citizenship without any of the responsibility.
