I got my Nebraska Driving License today just with my I-797 from I-485 passport, expired I94 and SSN. Fortunately, I had my SSN from many years ago. I went fully armed with the REAL Act ready to show them that my expired I94 and Adjustment of Status I-797 is enough to show lawful presence and prepared myself for a battle. But, to my surprise, I handed over my paperwork, passport, expired I-94 and proof of address and they just processed it without any questions. And to boot, after passing the written and driving test, they issued me with a 5 year license. Given I made no appointment and DMV's are notoriously horrible, I was there a grand total of 65 minutes from the moment I walked in to leaving with a temporary license in my hand. I remember years ago queuing for 4 hours just to enter a DMV in Houston years ago..

I faxed an offer letter, an affidavit from the company and receipts.

New update, my interview was scheduled, I’m going to be checking my P.O. Box every day until I get the letter. I don’t even know what I have to bring other than a copy of my AoS packet, I’m so exciteddddd and nervousss 😅

6-4-20 - mailed packet
6-15-20- NOA1 hardcopy received
7-28-20- Biometrics appointment notice
8-10-20- Biometrics done
8-14-20-  Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview
 
Does anyone know how long it takes for them to schedule you for an interview?

The biometrics process here in Manhattan was super smooth. In and out in five minutes. Case was updated today to show biometrics were complete. Good luck!
