After the first interview they kept the passports. They completed their interview on July 2nd, 2022 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. They put them under administrative processing, and we had yet to hear back from them for about 7 months. Now they requested they complete a second medical exam. I am wondering if they called me 4-6 times to ask for a second exam , is it just because the first one is expired, or because we'll get a positive response soon?. I'm told that people got denied after a second medical examination. I am worried

My stepkids had their interview since July 2022 . They received a 221g, we have submitted the requested documents 3 weeks after the interview. The embassy tried to reach me   3-4 times for the past 3 weeks , I finally talked to them yesterday and they requested a new medical examination. However, the  exam was done in July 2022 therefore  not expired. What should I do since the embassy agent told me to pick up the passport at the embassy today so we can use them for the medical. Please help i really don't know what to do?

It has been quite a wait indeed. I was DQ on 05/05/2020, interviewed 2 days ago. Good luck!

That is a long wait. Something needs to be done about this. They should have a time frame for this process. It is really unfair to watch people done within a year while others have to wait forever. 

Once a proper I-485 (accepted) has been submitted, you are granted "authorized stay" in the US until the I-485 has been either approved or denied....an RFE is neither an approval nor a denial.   Just send them what they want to answer the RFE.

Sorry op, he's getting a 10 year green card and nothing you can do about it. Plus the green card is his personal property so you can't hold on to it. To add insult to injury, even if you divorce him you are still responsible for his affidavit of support sponsorship and any financial woes in incurs with the government. Unless at some point he is no longer a greencard holder. 
As others have said, just divorce and move on. Though you'll still be responsible for his financial sponsorship. All the best.

You guys married October 2018. He ENTERED the USA with his immigrant visa on April 2021. So at the time of his entry, your marriage to him was more than 2 years old and that makes a LPR, not a conditional resident. His GC will be valid for 10 years and there is nothing you can really do about his immigration status anymore. The dating site stuff is evidence of infidelity and that is not the same as immigration fraud. USCIS generally investigates on their own terms, not ours. They get lots of phone calls from angry ex-spouses all the time about "fraud" but fraud in the legal sense requires specific kinds of evidence to be accepted in court. For immigration fraud, the accepted evidence and definitions are even more specific and narrow. Withholding his GC is also a bad idea as that is a crime. It's not your property, first off. Second, it's official federal-government-issued documentation so the punishment for withholding something like that is even worse than keeping a random belonging that simply isn't yours. My advice is to file for divorce and move on.

This just shows Biden Administration, similar to the Trump administration on
immigration, prioritizes the family immigration rather than a merit
system. But different from Trump administration which is against ALL
immigrants.

You would think a rational immigration system would be a merit system,
rather than taking in all these people that will eventually be placed on the
welfare system anyway. We are the ones that will contribute to the economy
and the tax revenue the most. Instead, the immigrants with extraordinary
abilities were waiting in the line the longest and were forgotten by both
administrations. We are the middle class, but like the middle child, was
always forgotten.

This just shows both administrations prioritize their power gripping by
either taking in those people who will be on welfare and will vote for
democrats no matter what; or in republican's case, no immigrants who
probably won't vote for republicans anyway. But maybe the middle class
immigrants want to vote for democrats as well? Did Biden administration ever
think about that?

In both administration, family immigration was incentivized, rather than via
the merits.This unfortunately will lead to more illegal immigration and
fraud, because people will want to take the shortcut rather than waiting
forever via legal pathways.

Oh OK. That's a pretty bold statement to make about family immigrants being on welfare eventually. You do know that also, welfare is for helping people when they need it, right? It's why people like me, pay taxes. A merit system also negates anybody who could potentially become someone better by immigrating to the US. It's ridiculous and egregious to say that only highly educated, fluent English speaking, etc... Should be allowed to immigrate. 

I have some news for all you guys waiting . The reason the process has been taking long is because of covid and also because the embassy in Haiti was not working in full capacity . The good news is as of this week they started working at full capacity so things should be moving pretty swiftly.

Its mid May already, this is ridiculously ridiculous, what the hell is going with haiti??? Anybodyknows a good lawyer??? The whole process started 12/18 dq 9/19 and its 5/21 i am still waiting for an interview with  no update no nothing,that doesn't make no sense come on yall,anybody got interview letter recently????

Ok guys, let's not stop this forum as it is very helpful. It gives hope when learning that someone in the queue get to move forward. Keep posting any new info.

The previous message was released by the department of state. This is an update on the US embassy in Haiti website. So, they acknowledged that are supposed to be prioritizing visa interview for immediate relatives of U.S citizens. We have to pay attention in the weeks and months going forward to see if they actually do that. Haiti embassy is not very informative usually so this a good sign. But again, actions speak louder than words.

My dad was DQ’ed today. I am waiting for an interview in Bogota, Colombia.

I totally agree "this is a good sign" Let's keep hope alive because we cannot control what happens with Haiti embassy, but we can definitely control our attitude toward what happens with that embassy.
