Don’t feel discouraged quite yet. Vawa still has relatively high chances of approval, imho.
in addition, you never know why the cases have been denied. Maybe they have been withdrawn/abandoned? Maybe an applicant decided to get married and file through their new spouse? Maybe their marriage was ridiculously fake? You never know.

based on my personal experience, here is my advice that no one asked for: please, do NOT purposely look up denied cases, since this will make you overthink and stress out like crazy for no reason. Of course it’s good to know which mistakes not to make, but don’t focus on this too much, please. Not worth it.

can you please share when did you send your i693, and when did it arrive to uscis?  and how long did it take from the moment your i693 arrived to uscis to get your i485 approved?
I received a i693 rfe for my i485, I sent it and arrived to uscis on last week dec 9th, I am wondering how long it takes for the queens office to approve it once they have my i693, please let me know

    1. The Waiver is that relief for the ground of inadmissibly.  The Waiver is the final step to adjudicate your I-485. The Waiver is the final decision at the discretion of the officer if a Waiver of inadmissibility is denied you are inadmissible your I-485 will be denied.  RFE are sent when the waiver is missing and your I-693 form does not contain a blanket waiver for the Covid-19 Vaccine.
Applicant can proceed with USCIS I-290B to request consideration.
Waiver under religious beliefs is accepted and will be consider and analyze by the officer and is at his discretion. Please read the Chapter 3 of USCIS for more https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-9-part-d-chapter-3
    * USCIS mentioned The applicant has to demonstrate that he or she opposes vaccinations in all forms; the applicant cannot “pick and choose” between the vaccinations. The fact that the applicant has received certain vaccinations but not others is not automatic grounds for the denial of a waiver. Instead, the officer should consider the reasons provided for having received those vaccines. * Applicant have to clarify with reasons why received others vaccine but not the covid-19. The religious belief or moral conviction must be sincere and explaining. Hope this help.  I think many applicant can get this waiver approved if it is well elaborated and explain to USCIS.

The adjudication of the waiver is seperate.  They will notify you of denial of the waiver.  You will most likely receive a RFE for the medical, and then if it is not submitted with the required information then it will be denied.  The only problem with the denial of the waiver, is that you will have to pay for your medical twice.

    Thanks for the reply.
If the denial of the waiver is not always systematic, then it's good for people to know, so that they can also try it. If it passes, good. If it doesn't, then you can do the vaccine shot. For it's always better to try the option where you feel more comfortable with your conscience.
I know, few people try this Covid-19 waiver option. I will definitely be among those few if needed and see how it goes.

Will they simply denied the I-485  just because your waiver was not approved?
Will they not first, send to you a notice of intent to denied (NOD), stipulating the fact of medical admissibility due to Covid-19 vaccine?
By so doing, allowing you to correct the inadmissibility and got the vaccine !?
Let's those who have gone through this process say something. For as far as I know, waiver under religious basis of this covid vaccin is legal and under is the current law.

Very very helpful, thank you. I did not get a decision other than that it’s not moved from original case to VAWA.

I would advise you to do medicals because they asked me for medicals and my medicals were still valid.

If you want to be exempt from the Covid-19 Vaccine Please consider this  is another layer of process, you must submit a Waiver I-601 based on religious beliefs or moral convictions, along with I-693 form and this waiver is at the discretion of the officer to granted, your I-485 will not be process until the I-601 waiver exemption is granted. If it is denied your case will be denied for medical inadmissibility.  I have not seen no one who have gone this road yet, but if you do please keep us posted.

Hi everyone. I can't believe that I am writing this, but it is real. I thought it will never happen. I got an interview notice for I 485 after VAWA approval recently. Hopefully this will end soon and I will go on with my life. I can't find any information, how is interview process for i485 after VAWA approval? What should I bring with me? If I have kids listed in VAWA case, but they are abroad, do I need their original birth certificates? I am lost, overwhelmed and can't wait for interview day coming.
Thanks in advance for responce everyone. I am so glad I found this group, even I am not active poster here.
