seems like you and me are in same boat my wife status from F2A to IR1 change on January 13 and waiting for IL I'm not sure how long it take? keep me posted I will do the same,

you should get soon this month for date next month, Unless the holidays delay may bumped you to Jan DQs batch.

Because there probably alot of people before you. Because things slowed down for every embassy during the holidays now things pick up.
You have to realize there's hundreds of people a month scheduled just for IR1/CR1 immigration

nvc started sending IL hopefully other countries will also be recieving ILs soon

CR1 is 2 year conditional GC issued if the beneficiary has been married <2 years at time of entry.
IR1 is 10 year GC issued if the beneficiary has been married >2 years at time of entry.
no effect on processing time

Hello Guys,
Just wanted to give all who are waiting a bit of hope. I follow this thread for a whe but just signed up today so I could write this.
Received case number October 25th
Submitted documents November 7th(due to wait on police certificate from Jamaica being delayed)
Any how.
I decided I would call NVC this morning December 30 and demand to speak to a supervisor because its been over 7 weeks waiting. ( Atleast that was the plan) when I called I was on hold for over an hour. The lady came on and I started going on and on and telling her it has been over 7 weeks. Then she started laughing I was like what the hell. Then she said ma'am your documents were all accepted today December 30.
Just say I never received an email,
So I logged in CEAC and there it was.
There is light at the end of the tunnel..

NVC has its own method, nobody knows but NVC. for my case first was in Oct 22 (morning Jakarta's time) then in the evening we got respond they need more financial supports documents.
we submitted again in Oct 23rd, finally in Dec 13 DQ after 7weeks and 2 days, now just waiting for the interview.
the whole process should be named the waiting game 🤷
