danielba got a reaction from Babu Frik in I-130 October 2019 Filers
Hi,
I think it's different for every country but hope this is helpful:
We paid the fees using a debit card. We filed the DS-260 electronically - it was super easy. We only filed the I-864EZ since we were eligible to present that one - the 3 "yeses". We uploaded the IRS for 2016, 2017, 2018 and for 2019 I think we used the 1040 since the IRS Transcripts were not available yet. Under the "Additional Documents" we uploaded Earn Statements (3 months) and the W2 for 2019. For the Civil Documents Part we uploaded: one picture of my passport, 1 passport picture type (of the beneficiary), copy of my birth certificate and copy of our marriage certificate. We didn't upload a Police Certificate due to covid closures and we added a note saying we will present the certificate the day of my interview. We were told that we don't require translations for the NVC stage but we added the translations under the "Additional Documentation Part" we had from the USCIS stage just in case. Good luck with your process!

Same here. My case closed on 6/1 and I went to the US to visit my husband in late July - I told the CBP Officer I was there to visit my husband and I had no problem. I stayed in the US for 5 weeks and I'm planning to visit him again in February.

I know! It's really ticking me off! 😒
At least there aren't too many people immigrating to the US from Switzerland, so there really should be no waiting line once the embassy reopens 😊🙏

Wow, Congratulation!!! You are very lucky. According to NVC Time Frame, they are reviewing documents were submitted on Feb 14. You are way ahead of them, also it just took you 1 weeks to get everything done from the day your I-130 approved.
Congrats again and best wish to you.

Thank you so much! That’s very sweet of you and much appreciated! 😊
Yeah, it’s annoying - but at least the IV fee was processed so I’m thinking of just finishing the Ds-260 and Civil documents and then prep the documents for the AOS and upload as soon as the system error is resolved 😃

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to share with all of you that we completed the forms and uploaded all documents last week (we uploaded the last one on Thursday) and we just received the email notification that all our forms and documents were approved - now we just have to wait for our interview. This was so fast, we are very happy and excited.
Wish you all the best!

danielba reacted to Iscir in DS260 Question
Yes it is possible. It says in the instructions that you can type or print legibly in blank ink. Also the petitioner has to sign and date the form, and for that he has to print it, sign it, and scan. If he doesn’t then it will be rejected.
oh and one last thing, if you’re in Mexico and your documents are in Spanish, they don’t need to be translated to English unless they’re in another language :)

danielba reacted to Tschuulia in DS260 Question
Yes, we did it the same way on our 130 form
so either like that or you print a blank and fill it out by hand.

Hi, you can download acrobat reader and try the 7 day free version. I had similar problem and I was able to fill it out with acrobat reader. Hope that works for you.
