Since you are coming in on a K1 you will have lots of time to start looking.

Your interpretation is not even remotely what the OP is saying

Come prepared. Come dressed well. Be yourself. Be honest. And that's really it. It's not that deep.

Yes.
My main concern about entering 3 days before the visa expires would be an unexpected delay. Eg illness (beneficiary or family), travel disruption (air traffic control strike, volcanic eruption that disrupted European flights few years ago, terrorist attack like 911, etc). When deadlines are in play, its good to have some wiggle room.

Irony: A dude named “dollah bills” inquiring about when to submit the affidavit from a joint sponsor

You only send the marriage certificate when you file for the AOS. The proof of existing relationship/front loading comes when its time for the AOS interview, which could take 4-6 months for it to be scheduled from what I'm told.
4-6 months will be more than enough time to gather all the evidence and proof you need.

Catalyst2020 got a reaction from Russ&MaryAnn in Petitioner name misspelled in Visa
So! A quick update. The embassy emailed me back saying this about the Petitioner misspelling:
"As long as your biodata is correct on the visa foil and matches your passport information no need to cancel the visa and reprint."
I'm printing a copy of this email and taking it with me every stage of the process in case I get questioned or get any sort of hassle 😂😂

Which embassy are you interviewing at?
I included no chat logs, ever, but you do have to show that the relationship is ongoing since you filed the I-129F 6+ months ago. You can't just rest on the I-129F petition. Give them evidence on paper that the relationship is still continuing.
We brought new, updated letters of intent to the embassy, but they didn't ask for them. In your case, they might. I would have her send you a scan of the letter and mail you the original and use the scan only if the original doesn't arrive.
I'm not familiar with the letter of domicile.

scanned and printed copy of letter of intent is fine for the majority of consulates. technically it should be fine for all, but when we were going through the k1 process, i know there were still a couple that were following outdated info of needing an original. that may have been remedied by now
his lease or drivers license will suffice
chat logs not necessary

Catalyst2020 reacted to wingman23 in Quick preparation questions
1 - i provided the letter of intent to marry with the wet/original signature. during the document verification, the CO asked me if it's a photocopy or not and replied it was not a photocopy. not 100% sure but i assume that she is looking for a wet/original signature for this letter.
2 - i brought with me her original and photocopy of US citizenship certificate, copy of her driver's license, copy of her passport, title deed as proof of domicile but never asked during document verification. not even listed in the laminated paper they gave (order of documents before document verification).
3 - chat logs not needed. not in the list in preparing the order of documents.

Yes you need a job offer in the majority of cases. My husband essentially transferred from his work union in canada here and the union, and a previous employer of his who also has offices here provided the job offer. from start to finish it took right about a month. We did not ask for AP but it was given as well.

So instead of it taking 5-6 months to receive the EAD, how long would it take if it gets expedited?
