Our timelines are very similar. Hopefully my i-485 updates soon too. My EAD and AP are on "case received" too. 😕
Just wanted to mention. We mailed the application overnight on December 18th so it was received on early on the19th. I am thinking your status should update next week if you mailed it regular mail or priority mail.

Awesome thanks everyone. She has a real ID so we will use that.

Any issues with flying to Hawaii while waiting on advanced parole ? I am planning our next trip with the wife 🙂

Many factors influence approvals including your case being assigned to someone who may take more vacations, on FMLA leave or just lazy.
let’s hope the cases do not involve follow-up questions from a supervisor by the reviewing person or there would be another delay there too.
I am praying we all receive that reviewer who is speedy, organized and again, I mention it, very fast 🙂

Please fill out your timeline to better address your questions.

So your financial hardship is based on taking too many vacations? Hmm I don't know if that will work 🤔😉
I have no other excuse. Money is not an issue but my wife needs to work. She is a workaholic.

It will not cause an issue, but it is not the best evidence for an expedite. This is the problem with the K1, many people don't realize that they are stuck in limbo for months when they come here. If you say you have vacation bills, the person reviewing your expedite request can say, you chose the K1 and everything that is involved with it. They can say you knew you had to wait for work authorization so why rush it now.
Thank you. I will discuss it with my wife. She is feeling trapped at home without work.

Does vacation bills count? We have many bills from vacations we are taking. I can show them credit card bills but I always pay them so the balance is low. Will that cause an issue for me to expedite?

Ask uscis and go anyway. Get a new lawyer if he did not proceed To fact check this

2 questions:
1. ABOUT how long from notification of interview scheduled to actual date? biometrics was a week, not alot of notice
2. I may be starting a new job in March (I'm estimating via visa journey that my interview could be in April). My salary will be more than it is currently. Will there be any proof of income or issues with starting a new job prior to interview?
1. About 2 months
2. no issues as long as you meet income levels. The rest is up to the interviewer.

I got the case number three days after submitting the package. That was pretty quick. But since then I have heard nothing...
I think the letter was lost. I would call them and tell them you need another letter mailed and that it was lost. Until you say that, they may tell you to wait. Good luck

Hi wondering are there any mates living in California? I got my case submitted on 12/05, but still haven't heard anything about the biometric arrangement... I called couple of times they just say it's normal... Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks!
Do you have a case number assigned? If so, did it take a while before reaching it?

Check your case, because my status updated. ☺️
Thank you!! Mine updated as well.

I had my wife go to the NY DMV and get a Real-ID non-Driver card. They look at the expiration of the k1 and say they can only do 90 days, blah blah.
i tell them it’s 1 year from marriage by AOS NOA paperwork. They talk to a supervisor and then issue the card for 1 year from marriage certificate.
that ID proves you are a temp visitor in good standing. We use it for vacations. We try to vacation often as it’s cold in NY.

Bring the letter and walk-in. I advise to avoid the morning hours and go at 1:00pm.

Hey, I think we have a similar timeline. Did tour case change? Because I did biometrics on the 21st, but my case still shows "Fingerprints fee was received".
No change on my case and still says Fingerprints fee was received.

Hi y'all. I hope everyone is doing well - just wanted to give an update, I did my biometrics on the 24th of January and waited there for an hour and a half (not as smooth as I had hoped but whatever.. it's done at least). I also had a question.. does anyone know what's next? Is it just the waiting game now? And anyone have an update on how long the waiting times are for our EADs and travel permits? sending good vibes to everyone x
The timelines vary based on the other posts but I think anywhere from 90 to 120 days on average for EAD/Travel.
right now, the best is not to get an RFE update. This can arrive about 30 -60 days after biometric.
