  1. The long awaited "case approved" finally showed up today for my EAD. I'm so excited!
  2. FINALLY sent in my RFIE documents. Now we wait and see if they still process some parts, or if they are going to shut down until all of this is over. I hope everyone is staying strong through all of this. Don't forget, we are all in this together.
  3. How exactly do you do that? I need my mother in law's tax return but they are with her lawyer and he's been unreachable for the past week.
  4. Me and my husband are using my mother in law as a joint sponsor after we received an RFE for income. I am including her birth certificate as proof of citizenship but I just realized that the birth certificate has her maiden name on it while we are using her married name on all the paper work. Is that an issue? Should we include a copy of her marriage certificate as proof of name change or is that not necessary? Also, her tax returns are with a lawyer for some reason and my father in law has been trying to contact him for 3 days with no results. I obviously need those tax returns so it's incredibly frustrating that I have to wait on that lawyer to do his job. Is there a way to request copies of tax returns online in case they can't get a hold of their lawyer soon?
  5. That’s exactly what we did It shouldn’t give you any problems
  6. I have two middle names, which are also on my passport, however they are not on the I-94 and I did not have any issues with that.
  7. Congratulations, that's awesome news! When did you file?
  8. I don't know if this has already been asked so I apologize if I'm repeating someone's question. Does receiving an RFE for the I-485 also put the EAD application on hold? I would imagine the answer is yes, but I'm not 100% sure.
  9. That's good to know. All of those should be easy fixes. Let's say that it is the taxes that didn't show enough income for 2018, do you think it would be good enough then to send in the 2019 taxes, if they do show enough income? I'm gonna have my husband file them ASAP just in case it is that. He earned more than enough in 2018 but for some reason his income on his 2018 tax return form was extremely low. Not all his income is on his tax form because a very big Chunk of his income is non taxable (VA benefits).
  10. We have an RFE as well. Hopefully it's something that is easily fixed.
  11. Got my biometrics done yesterday in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. It took me about 30 minutes. Case has already been updated to fingerprints were taken
  12. Sent my package out December 17th. NOA date was January 2nd and I received the biometrics letter in the mail today, the appointment is the 29th!
