  1. Apologies for that! Thank you for correcting me
  2. I don't understand why everyone is being so negative. Since 2014 I've made 3 trips of one month, and a couple 3 week trips. I do understand two months is longer, but I don't think it should cause you any problems. Never ever had I had a problem entering the U.S. Not once have I had to show proof that I had enough money to support myself during the trip, and only once have I had to show proof of my return flight. Now, I do suggest to book a return flight because there is a chance they will ask for it, and it could cause a problem if you haven't booked a flight home. But otherwise I don't think you should have any problems at all. Just be prepared to answer questions such as: why are you here? Where are you staying? How long are you staying? Just explain that you're visiting your girlfriend, and that you have a return flight booked, and you should be fine
  3. I had the same issue when I filled out my first application. I just started a completely new one, so I got a new application ID and everything, and after that, the new application worked fine.
  4. Just try to retrieve your application from the home page; you will have to fill out the first five letters of your surname, your year of birth and the answer to your security questions. I had the same issue the first time, and even after filling out the right information, I could not retrieve my application. If that happens to you as well, just start a new application (that's what I did, and it's working perfect now). I don't know what browser you're using, but I'm using google Chrome to fill out the application.
  5. Does the embassy need the paper version of the petition before they send out the information letter, or is it enough for them to have received the electronic version? I'm asking because I'm tracking the package on the DHL website, and for some reason they are too late to deliver it to the embassy every day 🙄. My status on CEAC was changed to ready a couple of days ago though, so I'm guessing the embassy here already received the electronic petition.
  6. I had the same problem, using different browsers. I just created a new DS-160, and everything is working perfect now. I'm using google chrome now whenever I'm working on the DS-160.
  7. It does, but it wasn't working. I started a new application and everything is working now.
  8. Should I just start a new application then? I just hope it won't time out again, because that's why I stopped this morning. I had been on working for like 5 minutes and I went to go to the next page and it timed out. I've seen that's also a major problem with the form. I have time though, so let's just hope I'll get it done by the time it needs to be done 😊
  9. I have a question about the DS-160 form. I started it this morning. I've been meaning to work on it again today, but every time I try to retrieve the application and fill in the application ID, surname, year of birth and security question it says "surname does not match" and "year of birth does not match" (and I know I'm filling in the correct information). Has anyone else had this problem, and what should I do? I've tried it on Firefox and Chrome, and have the same issues on both browsers.
  10. I'm pretty sure that If you got the mail from NVC, the package has been sent and is on its way. Maybe it's delayed a little bit and hasn't been put in the system? I would try not to worry too much about it (easier said than done of course)
  11. DHL tracking seems to be working for me. There's a package on the way from Boston to Brussels, so that might be mine. Fingers crossed.
