Your interview took 253 days from the NOA1 date.   Ours took 142 days.  In the 111 day difference of time ..  we got married, obtained SS card,  obtained CA drivers permit,  and applied to the CA Board of Nursing.  Within 180 days of our AOS/EAD submission we received her work permit and BON approval.   Today my wife is making six-figures as a surgical nurse ... while I'm betting you're still waiting on a work permit?   Being Prepared means knowing what hurdles are coming and taking actions before they arrive. But ignoring them and dealing with the issues when they pop up might work too.  Good luck with that.

still waiting for interview dates to open up... hard to wait.. but patience is a virtue so keep on signing in and checking those traffic lights, palm trees or pedestrian crossing pictures... hahahahaha

Not hold the date... correspondence and inquiry would suffice. Any company would provide pricing and menus for free.  High end or low end places, all over the country. 
 
 
Ask for a quote, have them put the bride and grooms name and the details... with date stating "to follow" or "to be discussed"

reservations can be made through email or a phone call and they can be cancelled if plans won't fit with no fees at all. study the timelines of approvals on each step and plan accordingly. would you rather have an RFE or make some small steps to prevent an RFE? 
 
most of us here agreed that the RFE was a mistake or weird that it was issued. even the FAQs told us so. unfortunately, it was issued contrary to what we expect. so the OP needs to have some proof that they indeed talked about the wedding, made some steps in making it happen and provide evidences (e.g. receipts such as the engagement ring/wedding ring) to satisfy and as indicated in the RFE. 
 
unluckily, the OP is part of the 1% and the 1% needs to provide proof. what's the best proof? i'd rather be part of the 99% than the 1%.

well yes, found it unacceptable that there was noone who was eager to answer my questions and informing me what is hapening now and how long it will take. i am used to be treated differently f.ex. by government workers. 
 
also have not once said that i think that eu women should be treated differently than other nationalities. simply said that from my european point of view it was unacceptable how i was treated.  
 
 
 
 
 
 

🤔 is European professional women any higher than other nationality women that they should be treated differently at immigration ..Didn’t know that ... & I’m glad you had antibacterial spray as every one else in the secondary line was carrying some sort of bugs as they were not European 

This is all too real... my best friends cousin was brutally murdered by her husband a year after coming to the US (jealousy, possessiveness and etc is all we know).

they listed the missing docs in the RFE - wedding preparations, photographs, correspondence of wedding invites, or emails that shows you are talking about the wedding. you can also provide the receipt of the engagement ring/wedding ring that you gave her.
 
i believe that the intent to marry letter should include wedding preparations even though, as you said, it's hard to prepare for a wedding without a solid date yet. however, to avoid RFE, we need to provide this. good thing that my fiancee plans ahead so we have proofs to provide when we submitted our 129F. no rfe for us.

I'm only bringing with me the divorce certificate. My previous marriage certificate was sent to the court when we filed for divorce. Furthermore, the previous marriage had been voided and no longer in effect so the certificate for that marriage is irrelevant now.

If the child is 18+ for K2 visa, will a consent form from the other parent be needed?
