K-2 Letter of Consent from other parent

Hello,

 

My interview in Montreal is fast approaching and I just want to make sure I’m fully prepared.

 

I am bringing my 7 year old twins with me on a K-2. Their father and I share joint custody with their primary residence being with me. Their father and I are on great terms and he is very supportive of them moving to the US with me and visiting them there. He has written a letter that includes him giving them permission to immigrant permanently to the USA which has been notarized.

 

Has anyone gone through something similar or going through something similar and can advise me on if this is sufficient?

The consent letter is enough. 

 

Make sure he understands at first the kids will not be able to go back to Canada until they get their advance parole. That process is taking much longer these days.

No at 18 they are legally an adult and no longer need consent.
