Had my successful dv interview on 2nd july..CEAC was updated to issued on 3rd I was about to complain but I have been reading  through the thread and realized it took a month for some ppl to receive email from DHL..
So I think i ll have to sit back, relax and console myself with this bible quote 😁 "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength"

My husband interview is next Thursday 7/25. He received all necessary documentation today by FEDEX. We are constantly praying and hoping for the best 

interview day is in 14 days

got my passports today with visa. interview was on 9th may  2019 and was put on 221 g and given ds5535 form and after two months got the visas, dont lose hope . i know its very hard to wait

LOL yes they do understand different cultures and unfortunately they check closely in several countries to see if the couples slipped an “engagement” ceremony in during the process.

CO requested for a letter from our joint sponsor explaining why she will sponsor the family (interview - July2018)
 
*We submitted the letter together with our passports (2 weeks after interview)
 
*Long wait (over 6 months)
 
*Passport returned (DHL)
 
*Embassy requested for new medical reports and police clearance (submitted together with passports few weeks later)
 
*Another waiting period
 
*Senator contacted Embassy
 
*Embassy called and instructed us to book a 221G follow-up appointment for fingerprint scan and re-oath
 
*Passports returned (DHL)
 
*221G appointment booked (took a couple of weeks to get a date)
 
*221G follow-up interview day
-consular section requested for DS-260s to be resubmitted (gave us only 30 minutes to do so)
-submitted DS-260s confirmation pages
-took the oath and scanned our finger
-got our passport photos captured
-returned to CO and he said congratulations your visas have been approved
- Gave us the white slip for collection
 
*Now waiting for pick-up alert
 
It's been a journey full of waiting, suspense, anxiety, doubt & hope...Through it all God remained faithful
 
We'll give God all the glory

Woke up this morning with the best present from the NVC.
We received our IL at 4:00am EST. 
August 27th Cameroon Embassy

My birthday was Monday and I was praying I would get something from the NVC this week and thank the Lord, my prayers were answered. I last checked our status on CEAC last night around 7:00pm EST and it said "AT NVC", and when I checked this morning after seeing the email it says "IN TRANSIT", so I am not sure exactly when the switch happened.
 
Waiting for this IL was so frustrating. I have cried so much these past weeks, I never thought it would arrive, but here we are now. Stay strong and don't lose hope, your IL is coming!!
 
 
 

NVC finally scheduled our interview! August 13 CC May 3. Lagos Embassy. Praise God
