Today was an extreme roller coaster day but after my fiancé and I were told we were  in admin processing after our interview we received an email that said her visa will be mailed tomorrow! The embassy was very helpful the whole time but wow what a process!
 
I’m so happy right now and so relieved but I want to thank everyone here and especially greenbaum for all his help. My advice to anyone going through this process is that these guys on VJ can save you a lot of money and headache by doing this yourself and not a lawyer if you desire.
 
I wish everyone good luck with whatever they do in life and in relationships,  just be happy that’s all I know.
 
To those May folks still waiting, hang in there it’s worth the wait.

so my fiance finally got her visa and the sealed package, but the sealed package is torn and has a letter from ciudad juarez saying please accept this and process as usual. is this normal? has anyone have the same problem? please let me know.

Just wanted to let members of this topic know my fiance's K-1 visa was approved, process when shockingly smooth bio-metrics was fast 10 minutes and she was out, medical appointment took about 1 - 1 1/2 hours not as long as we were anticipating (no complains here) and final interview took about 2 hrs (20 mins actual interview) for the most part asides from taking a look at our documentation there were only 4 questions asked.

Hello everyone K1/K2 visa approved today Thank God I could breathe now.

We have an interview date in Bucharest for February 6th at 1pm.  I am flying over for the interview and am very excited. Hard to believe that 8 months of waiting boils down to a 5 minute interview. Best wishes.

Hi guys, I just wanted to let you all know that I just re scheduled my appointment and saved 5 weeks! I've been trying to get a new date on the consulate website, my original interview date was March 29 and they just opened new dates starting feb 6!!! I logged in yesterday and the dates were as far as July 2019.
 
If anyone here is in México, this could be helpful, go to the consulate website NOW!

We had our interview today. All finished and approved. Literally was in our interview for 5 minutes. The Latvian embassy said the visa should be ready for pick up tomorrow. 

Had my interview yesterday and at the end of everything my interviewer said “congratulations we should be able to approve your application you’ll get an email in 7-10 business days telling you when your visa will be delivered” so subject to administrative processing. 
However today I’m nervous over those words “should be able to approve” 
At some point soon my life is either going to be ecstatically happy or totally devastated beyond belief no wonder I feel strangely vulnerable just glad it’s 98% in favour of ecstatically happy!!! 😂😂😂  I won’t settle  until Visa in hand.

so my fiance in mexico just did her ds160. she was able to make an appointment for jan 18 for the consulate interview, finger printing and photos on jan 17, and medical exam on jan 16. our question is is that one of the requirement for the medical exam is is to get a letter from the consulate? can anyone help us out? are we doing this right?

Hey guys, omg can’t believe this, we finally got our NVC NO, although unfortunately they have the wrong embassy in there. They’ve adviced me to change the info via website but they don’t guarantee if they will have time to check this request. Any suggestions @Greenbaum

The bride-to-be received her first winter coat (in her entire life!!) today. She tried it on and it fits perfectly.  Small wins!!
I had to show her how the double-zipper works 😊 Since she is so short that it almost reaches her knees, splitting the bottom makes it less of a body sock 😂. She is almost ready for mid-Atlantic winter once the visa process is successfully completed.
