Just an update. I mailed mine out via FedEx on Nov 7th, it was received on the 12th, NOA on the 15th.

Update on my case) Got 3 messages with receipt numbers today!! yay! Finally
 
First filed on September 30 
Whole package got rejected and was sent back to us on October 25
 
Filed again on November 2
All 3 NOAs - November 13

November filer here! Just sent my package today (11/12). Fingers crossed!!

What a beautiful morning! Woke up and saw SMS confirmation that all my three forms were received! (for 2 forms i got 2 identical SMS) . in total precisely 2 weeks, not bad, i guess

My husband and I have started compiling all the requirements for his Adjustment of Status! Hoping & praying everything goes smoothly! Good luck to everyone who’s filing!  🙏🏼

Biometrics letter arrived today... wooohoooo...  November 22 at 3pm

Got my texts yesterday night at around 11pm
 
Sent 10/22, Received 10/24. NOA1 Texts 11/7. 
Check wasn't cashed as of yesterday, I guess it must happen today.

Finally! Got the texts early this AM. Sent 10/9, Received 10/11. NOA1 Texts 11/8.

My NOAs have been arriving one by one in the mail since I got the text. Still one more left to come plus the biometric appointment. Hope to get them soon! 😁

yes, I did change my name after getting married! And Didn't have any problems with that..Nobody even told me not to🤨 So I guess marriage certificate was enough for it. Actually this was the easiest and non problematic step in this whole immigration journey so far

You surely knew that she has to re-establish domicile or provide such evidence of her intention thereof before your visa can be issued?
 
This may sound harsh but separation is a normal part of this procedure. Many people endure longer periods of separation. You were very fortunate to have been living with your wife in Pakistan. You chose to relocate to the USA and this just how it is. Had she not become pregnant, she could have visited you during this time. But you you made a conscious decision to make a baby (we all know how not to get pregnant) before you were able to live together in the USA. You are adults. You have to live with the consequences or your decisions. Nobody at the embassy is going to process your case any faster because you decided to have a child. That’s on you, my friend, 
 
Now, your AP time is longer than most countries. But that’s how it is for many Pakistani applicants. Nothing can be done about it. 
 
I would recommend you seek professional help for the depression you are experiencing. I understand that six months is a long time to be apart (at one point we were apart for longer) but to feel as though life isn’t worth living when you have a loving wife and child on the way waiting for you suggests that you are suffering from depression. And that needs medical help or it will get worse.

That's  correct we went back to change names and they would not do it till EAD or GC  Your latest immigration  document has to have your married name in this case  your I94 before they will change it ( or passport). So you have to wait  for EAD or GC. But some couples have been able to change their name. It depends on the SSA clerk and the SSA office.

Yes that's what the clerk said, just couldn't remember exactly. He said I could change if I wanted to, he just didn't recommend it, so I waited.

I mailed on the 10/10 packet received on 10/12 and text received 10/31 also check cashed 10/31

Yes got it without any problems in 3 weeks!
Had to go back to change it after getting married and this time wait was longer. After not getting anything in 4 weeks I called SS office and found out that card was sent back to SS office because my name wasn't on our mailbox. The lady on the phone said some postmen do that. They sent it back to me and I got it in a week after calling them

SMS received today NOA #  and check cashed 

You can use the same documents in the refiling (since all are still acceptable versions since you filed, AFAIK). Just add in whatever is missing.
