elmers reacted to Jake & Tracie in I-751 APRIL 2021 Filers (Removal of Conditions)
Congratulations 😊
I have just received notification that a new card is being produced on I-751 so no combo interview for me.
Looks like USCIS Nebraska is getting stuck into April 2021 applications now.
Hope everyone waiting hears good news very soon 🥂

Don't be so stressed about the estimated processing time. It is very inaccurate. Totally useless. Mine is still showing 10 months and I will have my interview in 3 weeks. Before that it was randomly changing (10, 5, 9, 7, 11, etc). The same has been reported by many others. Stay calm. There is nothing you can do about it. You will receive the letter informing you about the interview when you least expect it. Good luck.

@elmers
Mine changed to 30 days today.
Read somewhere, not sure if it was on VisaJourney, that the countdown can’t be relied upon. I guess we will see what happens in 30 days 😊
Might just change to ‘Closed for the holidays’ 🎅

I do not know answer to your question but I am glad to see an interview scheduled for February application! I filed in April 2022 so hopefully not too behind.
Good luck with your interview!!

Since today is Nov 1, the USCIS estimated time automatically went down to 2 months remaining. Dec 1 will be 1 month remaining and Jan 1 will be we have no freaking idea how long it will take 🤣😭 😭😭

elmers got a reaction from SoCal2021 in N-400 stats from USCIS for past quarter
USCIS published the data for last quarter (April 1, 2022 - June 30, 2022) here. I summarized the data for the worst 25 cities:

That sucks, sorry to hear. They must have misplaced your file so hopefully they find it and schedule another interview soon.

Hey
I’m still at the same stage. I-751 stuck on biometrics in the large Nebraska Abyss and n-400 is actively being reviewed. I think the word “actively” needs replacing. Although case has recently moved from 11 months to 4 months. So now still waiting.

Time to lawyer up, unless your spouse is willing to support you and help you finish this process before you go your own ways.
What city are you applying at?

Congrats! That's crazy fast. I wish my local office (Minneapolis) got inspired from Seattle's speed.
It varies. I wouldn't worry about the unknown. If it happens to fall during your trip, then time to prioritize one over the other.

You go only if his ROC (I751) is still pending. Otherwise just him.

An easier way that may also be less work to you is to import the jpegs into powerpoint and save as pdf.

Well I applied in April so about 3 and half months ago but nothing has happened. Maybe these people got extremely lucky? Minneapolis takes about 12-14 months from what I have seen so hang in there my friend.

elmers got a reaction from Chancy in I-751 interview not waived after submitting strong evidence - need to worry?
Lol yeah stress can do that. I interviewed for my I-485 in 2019 summer and this is how it went:
- The IO seemed recluse and stern (his facial expression) though we'd later find out that he was just bored, frustrated, and needed to vent -- more on this later.
- He asked me how we met (my wife is USC) and where we got married and why that location (family lives there).
- That was it for personal questions! We took a big binder of documents (most of which we sent with the forms so he had them too) labeled with tabs in front of him. I think he thought 'these guys are over-prepared' and didn't ask anything else. Plus, our evidence was strong with relationship going back to early 2010s.
- A few yes no standard questions from I-485 and he said we were approved.
- Later as he walked us out of the floor, he was complaining how there aren't enough officers to adjudicate the cases and computer hardware and software are slow and the # of cases are increasing every month. He actually stopped us before he opened the exit door and moaned and groaned for a couple of minutes about how much it sucks to work there because there is no strong support in terms of human resources, IT, pay, etc. We felt for him but thought it was weird too.
Anyway, my point is that a vast majority of cases, interview or not, are going to be approved because the IOs know strong vs. weak cases and they genuinely want to work/help people. I am sure there are exceptions. You will be absolutely fine!
