Same here 

the system has stopped sending me email notifications of messages and timeline updates. Seems to have happened around 20th Dec.  This happen to anyone else?

I was thinking this was happening to me too. Notifications have been coming in all wonky and I don't think I've seen any e-mails/timeline updates in a long time. 

She's got the visa in hand! My love is coming home tomorrow. Thank you all so much for helping us along the way!!

I have seen visa's issued within hours of the interview, some the next day, some one week, some 2 weeks, some 6 months and some 1 year.
 
Your mileage may vary. Have some more patience.

I’m dealing with the same. My interview was December 12 and it hasnt changed status yet, it’s stuck on “ready”. So I guess we need to wait a little longer. 😅

My final interview didn't take 5 minutes. We're so happy! We're finally closing the distance.

Visa on hand. It was delivered yesterday. POE is on schedule on December 17. After 11 months being away from each other, we finally will celebrate Christmas and new year together!
 
@Greenbaum is there any thread for AOS January 2019? 

Approved today too!  Meanwhile best of luck to those cases getting shipped to the Embassy this week.  

Her interview was today and.... WE'RE APPROVED!!!!! She had to wait a little longer than I expected so I was bouncing off the walls with anxiety but it's done! She's coming home to me.
 
 

well, some updates from us.
We finally tied the knot! Now onto the next step.. Adjustment of status. Whew..

Thank you for this! I have accutaly got it figured out yesterday, it was such a relief. My J-1 visa says that the two-year rule does not apply. 
 
I'm from Poland and we can schedule medical examination before we even receive a P3. I'm awaiting the results and I have an appointment with a doctor scheduled on December 19th. Almost there...
