    Because your first post didn't indicate what YOUR response was, so we assumed the beneficiary was unable to answer basic questions. That aside, I have read similar posts about this (i.e. beneficiary could answer the questions but CO said otherwise). I cannot remember what the resolution was. Other members who remember can probably chime in here.

    If the beneficiary is unable to answer those question then clearly something doesn’t add up. Was the interview in a language the beneficiary understood?

    Goodness. If it's true that those basic questions could not be answered then the rejection was correct. I know more about my neighbor than these two know about their spouses.

    Imagine you have 100,000 people entering a Football stadium through only one gate, it would take forever. So because of the amount of people, the stadium owners decide to open 18 gates to spread and balance the load.
     
    Your case should be approved faster, but USCIS have their own way of doing things.
