JISnJRS reacted to powerpuff in I-864 co-sponsor possibly needed?
That was meant for next time, the one that was split off and was ultimately unanswered, I removed that one

You shouldn't need a joint sponsor. Is it just you and your wife so household of two you are above the guidelines.

JISnJRS reacted to MarmiteC in September 2022 I-130 filers
NVC stage at least seems to be faster now. I know London embassy is around 2 months from DQ I think, so at least I expect the rest of the process for me to be pretty quick once we get approval.

You need wait that your case be approved for uscis then send to Nvc , at nvc stage is that you submit i-864 and others documents

JISnJRS got a reaction from Crazy Cat in Best time to file the I-864
I just got my taxes done, and still waiting for the results of sending the I-130 in. Should I wait to hear from CSC, or send it in soon as possible?
Thanks!

I know it doesn’t mean much but our estimated time is now 4 months! So still looking at June for approval. I wish this was quicker. Anyone else have any good news today?

JISnJRS reacted to Crazy Cat in How much time do I have to send I-485 after I-130?
I'm out and unfollowing.

JISnJRS reacted to carmel34 in Cr1 visa- uploading new evidence to USCIS
Upload any additional evidence of time spent together and financial co-mingling (not the money transfers) at the NVC stage as an "additional document," after approval of the I-130 petition.

JISnJRS reacted to Daphne . in Cr1 visa- uploading new evidence to USCIS
There is no guarantee that they will even look at it so I wouldn’t upload additional info (especially if it could potentially hinder your case). They will send you an RFE if they want to see more evidence.

This site tells you how many cases is been approved daily from the service centres and it looks like cases with IOE are the top of the list. Check it out on https://hilites.today/

The timing is the basis for scrutiny. You said the gc was issued a few weeks before the marriage ended. That’s a strange coincidence.

JISnJRS reacted to Crazy Cat in 2 years CG or 10 yers CG?
The CBP officer does not determine whether you get a 2-year card or a 10-year card. That will be determined by your records before the actual card is created. If you entered the US after 2 years of marriage, you should receive a 10 year card.

Yeah the actual processing and decision-part is quick, it's the wait for an available officer to pick up your case that takes forever.. They need to hire more people.

JISnJRS reacted to Rocio0010 in USCIS proposed price increase (Merged)
Are you saying that a 25 year old man that got a fraudulent B1/B2 visa saying he was married when he was not can’t come to the US for tourism and fell in love with a 70 year old woman in a week?!
C’me on, sometimes loves hits you like ⚡️

JISnJRS reacted to Redro in Cr1- interview- How to present pictures (merged)
I wouldn’t worry about photos at the interview stage. Your husband can take some NEW photos if you visit him between NVC stage and interview but otherwise it shouldn’t be necessary. They probably won’t take the photos when he gets to the embassy, they’ll be more interested in civil documents and financial support.

JISnJRS reacted to Crazy Cat in Cr1- interview- How to present pictures (merged)
Don't overthink the small stuff. You don't need a lot of pictures. The CO won't have time to look through an album or even more than a couple pages. Concentrate on quality, not quantity.

JISnJRS reacted to OldUser in USCIS proposed price increase (Merged)
I know it's a steep increase, but I'd pay extra $600 right now to get my case approved within the next two weeks 😅

Hi Mil, I'm UK also. We're also at Texas. No AR yet. Praying we can be in the US by next Christmas. 🙏

JISnJRS reacted to Rocio0010 in i130 relationship evidence photos- dates/captions
People have sent applications with no pictures and have been approved. That being said, knowing myself, I would add the details. In fact, I’d get rid of your attorney and continue on your own.

JISnJRS reacted to A&J22 in September 2022 I-130 filers
I think it's an overall estimate, but I wouldn't count on it being accurate since the pool of people that fill out their timeline is so small.

JISnJRS reacted to lvjeremylv in September 2022 I-130 filers
Thanks for starting the thread! I finally submitted our I-130 online last night after reviewing the answers about a million times. I know this process can take a very long time so I'm just hoping I don't get any requests for evidence to slow things down even more.
I saw mention of an NOA1 above with a reference number. When I login mine shows...
Submitted on September 11, 2022
Receipt # IOE(I'll omit the rest lol)
Is that what you're referring to? Or will it be something different?
Good luck to my fellow September filers 🙏🏼

JISnJRS reacted to Paula&David in September 2022 I-130 filers
Hi everyone!
I couldn't find a Sept 2022 thread so I created this one, so we can follow each others journeys and don't feel alone in the process. We filed ours on september 3, receive the NOA1 the same day, and our case has being actively reviewed By USCIS since september 6.
