He had his interview today and was approved pending his medical results. Was able to bring his bag etc in no problem and said it was a lot less stressful than he thought 😂😂

Ours was issued on friday, got the courier email tuesday and we selected home delivery, he just got his passport today if that helps you at all 😄

After my interview my case went straight into AP. I had my interview on November 27th and my medical was on November 26th. My case was expedited though and they forgot to take the payment, so I had to go back down to the embassy (Although my medical had not yet arrived by that point). 
 
Here's to hoping! Looking at flights for Saturday, prices are going up for Christmas though.

There's only 1 day difference between our medical/interview so I'm feeling either today or Monday haha. 

I was at embassy today to pay my fee and I was told they were still waiting on my medical. Anticipate a slight delay due to the embassy being closed on December 5th. 

I had my medical on 11/26 and I got an email response yesterday from visa medical that the results would be forwarded to embassy 12/4. So I'm betting that your results will most likely be forwarded to the embassy this week. 

I had my medical August 22nd and interview August 23rd and received my passport September 11th. The embassy received my medical results on August 30th and then it took 8 working days to get to me. This was using the courier home delivery service. Beware, they have loads of bad reviews about not delivering. Mine was scheduled to deliver by 6pm and I received it at 8.30pm. I Facebook and twittered the courier service company to chase up my delivery (they don’t have any other effective way to reach them) before their closing hours so they were about to speak to my delivery driver and confirm he would still deliver that day.

My fiancé did same thing. Medical on nov 15th interview the 16th. She just received vih today. Going by these dates I'd say its cutting it really close. But it's very possible. Once it moves to issued. Should have vih with in 5 days. We had to wait 4 days from issued to vih. 

So not like overzealous TSA

That's pretty much what a thousand people have said, but the next one up won't believe it.

I always use transfer wise. Quick, easy, with the best rates I could find.

Just got our email yesterday saying my husbands Interview will be on the 17th! Very excited/nervous/ hopeful that it will all work out. Curious as to if courier service over the Christmas period will be delayed/or lessened during this time? Cant believe its all happening...

3 months is a huge exaggeration. I'm doing my medical the day before my interview and I understand it'll likely add 1 to 2 weeks to the wait time. 
 
3 months? Extremely doubtful, unless there was something very wrong with you that was flagged by the medical.

Nowhere does it mention that you need to bring any form of ID apart from your passport to interview. Plus to people replying to this from other countries- in UK you're not required to carry ID on you and if you get asked you're not required to provide it. Drop your lawyer lol

UK does not have ID cards, and certainly not a National System.
 
Reasonable to assume your Lawyer is clueless.

Your lawyer is giving inappropriate advice. You posted in the UK Forum to get specific London, UK interview information. So don't follow advice of those jumping in from other countries saying to get a national ID card. 
 
Your husband only needs his passport for ID at a London interview.

Agree with above.  He should have one anyway.  

If I were you, I would get it. Better be safe than sorry. 

Anyone else feel like this is the worst bit? The wait between CC and having an interview date?
 
It's like the end is in sight but seems so far because we dont even have a rough estimate of when it will be done?
 
I haven't felt like this during the entire process, even the 7 months at USCIS or weeks waiting for a case number.
