That's the right spirit. In fact after your get interview date, your surely can pre-plan things in your head but don't commit money to anything until you've had your interview and received your physical passport+visa in hand so as to make sure everything looks correct and there are no issues.

Yes it’s hard waiting. Sometimes the joy of seeing people getting IL is clouded over by wondering things like “ why did they get theirs in 3 weeks and still for us it’s been almost 90 days or more” the emotional roller coaster that this process makes us ride is making me physically sick. So some of us... people in Cairo, people in Mumbai or Mexico or many African nations.....we are suffering, and for what? We have paid for our family members LEGAL immigration to the USA and this is what we get! Our lives stuck on hold with NVC instead of enjoying our time with the family members we are trying to be with. 
Sorry for the rant! 
I’m just frustrated....and I feel just sick!😢😢

We hope to hear some good news from US Embassy Accra today ..the wait has been long

Thank you so much for your kind response. That is so true, I will keep my eye on the fact that this is the last time we will be forced to spend so long apart. Once it is done, it is done.
 
For now, I will just be patient.

Hi everyone, I don’t post often, but this site has been so helpful to me and seeing other member’s posts and timelines keeps me hopeful, so I thought I’d share an update of my own case to contribute to the site and help others.
 
I received my husband’s interview date via email from NVC today super early in the morning—around 4:00am EST time. Interview date is on July 24. CC was on May 21. So grateful this long process is finally over! 😌

At 3:54am this morning I received the email from NVC which is my interview letter.m
 my interview interview date July 30,2019 at 12:30pm.
Bahamas Embassy 
 
CC June 3 
Receveid interview date June 13
 
 

It’s  very heartbreaking 

They are not scheduling interviews and they aren’t mailing issued passports too! This is so frustrating! 
A friend says it took 3 weeks before he got his passport from them! 🙁🙁🙁

So far not a single IL for July Accra Ghana Embassy on here . Let’s keep our hopes high 🤞🏻

I know this feeling and you and your husband waited so long during the USCIS stage as well . I hope to see so many people including myself receive an interview this week

I do see it’s based off of Case complete however I’ve seen cases where if two people have same CC or similar CC date, that other person whom has the earlier  PD date will get the interview first . For example 
PERSON #1:
PD: May 3,2018
CC:May 6,2019
 
PERSON #2:
PD: February 1,2019
CC: May 10,2019
**Most of the time this happens because Person # 1 Uscis petition took longer to be approved . More than likely Person 1 will receive an interview first !
