Hi. It was told somewhere in old threads. So list of the countries is small but when you open each item it goes through other countries too so maybe they drop it there if it is on their way  i am not really sure. And each mail piece to the same country contains several cases maybe. And yes there are many theories. @Greenbaum will punish me if i will say that my theory is 100% true hehehe 😂

If you don't intent on getting married do not apply for fiance visa. It's only for people who are 100% committed on getting married. One of the requirements is to get married within 90 days.

B2 visa is the only option.

This is not correct.  The requirement for a K-1 is to have met at least 1 time within the past 2 years prior to filing.........There is no requirement for length of relationship..

I am definitely not the first person in this thread or the first person to say this to them. I am also only referring back to the originally post where @TNJ17 claims “USCIS demands it.” Of course I’m fully aware it is highly encouraged but there is no need to spread fear or tell people that they’ll be outright denied for it.

New rules of denial are for those place holder applications who have incomplete applications who are missing vital information that are **required**. A TOS was never required for the I-129F.

I'm glad I did not follow the guide on how construct my I-129F. I followed the instructions issued by USCIS and I have my VISA and I'm leaving the UK soon. So many delays must be caused by the extra work the adjudicators have to do by sifting through so much additional info that's not been asked for.

Unless you used a different version of the form than the current one (which I doubt, because you filed after the current form was released), all of this information is completely untrue.  You should really make sure you actually know what you are talking about before giving advice.

OP:  I did not write anything about how we initially met, because like you, I read the form and the instructions and found that they very specifically ask about having met in person within the two years prior to filing (of which I included evidence), and they never ask about how you originally met.  They also never ask for any proof of not having met through an IMB, though it is true that a lot of people get RFEs down the line asking for such proof.  I think it just depends on the adjudicator whether they will ask for it or not, but it is not a requirement on the current version of the I-129F.  Though this version actually expired 8/31/18, so it will be interesting to see if any changes are made to the new version they put out.

Don't fret--you followed the instructions as they are written, which is all anyone can ask of you.  You may get an RFE depending on your adjudicator, but the RFEs don't seem to be adding more than 3 weeks or so to the process.  I have an RFE on the way--I will let you know when I receive it if they ask for the story of how we initially met.  Good luck!

    Hi,

I've come to hopefully calm your nerves. You are fine, you filled out the form correctly. Again for millionth time people, they want to know if you met in person, and when, they want to verify your first in person meeting.

Talking on a dating app is NOT a marriage website. If USCIS think they wanna know more about your time together, they will ask. People on this forum really need to stop acting holier than thou and freaking everyone out and fear mongering with outdated information.

Sorry if this comes across harsh, but so many responses to this thread are not helpful to anyone, and many should really re-evaluate the place they are coming from before giving any "advice". OP - please check your regional forum for advice on what comes up at the interview stage, and kind of evidence is genuinely requested and asked for.

For anyone else: Follow the instructions for the form, and the filing guidelines as published on the USCIS website, use your regional forums for guidance, ask questions here if you really are confused. I appreciate understanding a lot of information and reading long documents is not everyone's forte. Relax, use the examples provided by USCIS and provide only the information that has been requested.

Questions 53 and 54 have nothing to do with IMB, or the story about how people initially met. Sure you can include that, but it is very explicitly asks about circumstances and proof of IN-PERSON meeting. 55 is an easy No for anyone who explicitly didn't seek out services of IMB websites are not really hiding, their entire business model is to be that,  arranging  international marriages.

    What it actually says is

Which is completely different from "how you have met each other for the first time" I do not see question of that nature anywhere on 129F, just questions if you met via IMB.

Not to mention she let him jump out of bed the first night and go check on Lucy. The baby doesn't know him! What mother allows that, since he told her don't let her cry, it stresses me!?!?!? Also letting him bathe the baby, she just met him, i wouldn't have a strange man bathing  my baby.

This season is the Bobo olympics.  Lots of contestants.

Rickey has the lead by a wide margin by sending money to a hooker he's never even met just because she sent him some nice pics.  Wondering what the story is with the second girl.  I bet he sent her money too.  He may have already won gold.

Tarik is next by traveling all the way to Phils with an engagement ring for a girl who admittedly doesn't even find him attractive.  Spends 6 hours in a church of "insane idiots" (I like that description). I think he got more than he bargained for.  I loved when he met the parents.  His attempt at flattery ("Tell your mom that I can see where you get your good looks from" and "Your dad is handsome" didn't quite work.  I think even the parents didn't buy it.  LOL)  At least he declined the baptism.  I would have bet that he would accept it.  Good for him.  I think his brother will call Hazel out for being a GC-digger.  Outsiders always see things clearer than the love birds.

Grandma (aka Mouth of the South (I like that one too)) is next, travelling to Africa to meet a scammer half her age.  She is probably the least experienced dealing with another culture.  And she's so out of her element.  I'm sure that the mother didn't notice the gross "kiss" to transfer the half-chewed snail from her mouth to his.  (Great, I just threw up in my mouth AGAIN.)

Paul is next living with a 21 year old child who loves teddy bears and doesn't like to clean the house.  The clearest example of how immature Karine is was in last week's show when discussing having a baby she said: "If we have a baby it will make our relationship stronger and WE WON'T FIGHT ANYMORE"  Riiiiiight, because having a baby is the magic solution to ALL relationship problems.  And he has to get Mother's permission for major decisions.  Did anybody think that her parents would object to their relationship when reviewing his criminal record?  Maybe if he was Jeffrey Dahmer who killed and ate people.

Darcey is in a special category because she's not a bobo, she's just pathetic.  She is so desperate, literally begging him to love her and be a farter (that's how Jessie pronounces "father") to her daughters.  She is overly preoccupied with the physical, as well as appearances, more than he is.  I think he's ready to bolt but you can tell that he loves the US and really wants to live there.  He can be a brash in the way he treats her and talks to her.  I get that she often behaves like a child but he is often very mean to her.  Like when he was trying to answer a question to the camera and she interrupted, he snapped at her and embarrassed her.  There's a better way to handle that.

Here is my theory on Rachel and her hubby, they were selected for 3 reasons:
    1. The very reason that makes you guys doubt them- the Facetiming during birth, jim looking after baby  etc.  The woman obviously doesn't have good judgement and jumps from bad relationship to bad relationship.  Maybe they are hoping an ex will surface and want her back?
    2. There is more to the guy.  The sister mentioned he had many exes, and there is the complication of the crime, so TLC can work that angle.
    3.  I strongly suspect there will be a spin off show about CR-1s.  Something like "Married and forced apart" or some other dramatic, partially untrue title. Because we have those two, and Nicole and her boy in Morocco, and likely Paul and his girl.

    Don't be Hating..........

So far they are my favorite couple, the rest of them are boring.  Rickey's Columbia  journey is still in the making, so he is my runner up.

Karine and Pole just got boring, and Karine seems get uglier as each episode airs.

The English Dude and the baby maker is beyond boring to watch.

Elmer Fudd and the Philippines girl was odd and interesting last episode,  They could and should get interesting. I am waiting for the parents to pressure the girl to start asking for an allowance.

We interpreted the question this way, and in fact we included no "story" (even though its cute and unusual) as to how we met initially.  I wrote something like "Alec last visited me at my home in the US" with the dates, and in the additional info section, I listed all our other visits by date. We had about six visits of 2-8 weeks each during the two years prior to filing the petition. His I-94 and passport stamps were the only supporting evidence we sent.  Approved at 185 days without RFE.

I did second guess everything after sending our packet and reading VJ extensively.  I can only speculate as to the reasons we were approved so quickly and without an RFE.....we're older, his country is New Zealand.  We do have divorces and kids however.   Another thing:  some of the vetting may have been easier as he currently has a B-2 visa, and I have Global Entry.

Who really knows though.  Good luck to everyone still waiting...
