Both Australia and NZ are in the Asia/Pacific District. Both belonged to USCIS Bangkok before it closed down last month: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/international-offices/thailand-uscis-bangkok-field-office "were previously assisted by the USCIS Bangkok Field Office (which includes individuals residing in Australia, New Zealand, Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, East Timor, Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong)"

Once you have an approved I130 you can slow the process down at the NVC stage. I agree to filing  the 130 now .. read up
on the NVC process and you will understand how the pace there is somewhat under your control .... better than being delayed by the process of the I 130 approval and then still having the NVC and relocation ahead of you

11/13/19 was < 8 weeks ago.  Not sure where you're getting the 3 months from, but AP for Egypt/MENA can be lengthy.

Which database?  There is no centralized database in the US that tracks employment or residence.

No. On January 13th it will have been 2 months. The process is long because of many reasons, like background checks, plus the fact that there are many others applying as well. I know it's hard, but try to be patient.

For the petition, the only photos needed are the passport style photos.
Relationship evidence is optional, but can be helpful with certain high fraud consulates. There is no preset number - use common sense. Nobody is going to look through a bunch of photos, especially if they are from the same trip.

    Yes...that piece is important!
Even then it was only in exceptional circumstances still. They had NZ under their jurisdiction (IIRC), but that's different than having one in the country where you would interview.

More specifically, only income that will continue from the same source counts.  A business owner where the business will continue can count. Investment income may count. An employee who will work remotely for the same company may count.
Usually this does not apply, but there are some cases where  people have done so fine.

You are correct. There isn’t one. DCF for AUST /NZ has been approved in a few exceptional circumstances only

As noted, you're dealing with a small sample size, and then only looking at a small portion of that - those who have reported approval.

    A couple points to consider:
    1) In your prior link, sorting your prior link's data by approval date (newest->oldest): https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aplist.php?cfl=0&op1=app&op2=d&op4=1&op5=3,6,9,10
Page 1 has 2 cases where it took ~5-6 months for approval. These are very recent approvals.
Page 4 has a majority of cases in the ~4-6 month range. These are approvals from mid-December.

Are those cases where it took less than 4 months the norm? Or are the cases that took 5 or 6 months the norm? It's impossible to say.
I've seen a few times where a few dozen people who filed an I-129F had their case approved in ~3-4 months (not expedited) while most people were still waiting 6-8 months.

    2) Lets look at it another way. Instead of looking at the average - which you cannot know until you have all the data - let's look at from another angle. Starting with people who filed 4 months ago and looking at reported approvals form them, at what point are x% of the cases approved? Basically, when do most (x%) people get a decision within? This is something that can be calculated using incomplete data. That said, there are cases of people not updating their timelines so they will never show approved, people with an RFIE who have delayed their process (sometimes by months for not having a response right away), etc. So that factor must be considered in determine the percentage point top consider.

To do this, you can sort the prior list by NOA1 date (newest -> oldest), and limit the search to people who filed starting 4 months ago (page 35 as of this posting): https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aplist.php?cfl=0&op1=noa&op2=d&op3=&op4=35&op5=3,6,9,10&op6=&op8=
If you set the percentage at 50%, it roughly (I did not do an actual calculation) appears to happen a little before page 50 - late July filers. Let's say early August so we can compare it to now (early January). That's 5 months.
So within 5 months, about 50% of filers have been approved.
This is not a perfect plan nor implementation. It's another way to look at the data, one that does not require having a complete dataset.
    Just some food for thought.

Best be on the safe side and send in the whole passport as a copy. I’ve heard of Petition denials with just the biographical page.

you can fit 4 pages of passport on 1 page of paper, top section and bottom section, should be 8 pages total including all sides of the closed passport.

They want the bio page and any pages that have travel stamps but not the blank pages. No one gets denied because they didn't submit all the blank pages.

I didn’t say anything about falsified info.

My point is that the ‘data’ doesn’t reflect averages.  Maybe a handful of VJ members who got their cards at 105 days have reported it now.  But what about the folks still waiting who won’t get theirs for another 75 days?

See what I mean?  USCIS works on averages.  With their productivity goals, they have no incentive to under-report processing times.  Processing times are fluid and updated regularly.

Bingo. You always get data about the people who fall ahead of the average sooner than those who fall at or behind the average.
Say there are 100 people in a sample who filed on the exact same day. If 20 of them report getting approved at an average of 100 days, does that make the sample's average 100 days? Clearly no. The average might be 160 days and those 20 were just within 1 or 2 standard deviations. There would be no way to know - or even make a reasonable estimate - the average after only 20 people reported their results.
