Haha I know was being way overly sarcastic just to show how insane some people react these days to Trump and his immigration stance and all. But looking forward to this new "huge" push for quick deportations coming up... but anyways, won't get political with this post... just waiting patiently for the OP...

I'm not asking for sympathy nor looking for attention. Im sharing my story to give warning it can happen to anyone if you are not on point with immigration issues.

Unfortunately, and I say that as having had my husband here through K-1 visa process. This is part of the 'restrictions' with the K-1 route. While for us it really was only means of being together, others do have the CR-1 option which would eliminate this matter completely in sense of AOS'ing. Others have been in your place, so while it can be a pain, have to occupy your time. Make your now spouse take a trip somewhere even for a few days, more dinner/date nights out, go explore your area. Obviously if you just sit home 24/7, yea most would lose their minds, but got to find other things to do in the mean time.

All I-129f go through Texas lockbox and get transferred. How long ago was this petition?  It may sit for awhile but like others said it will expire in time.

But on a serious note, yea there's a few question marks in the story so far so please elaborate more. But ultimately, ignoring original orders was biggest mistake. And poor actions and choices have consequences.

You submit it to the USCIS lockbox in Chicago. They will then disperse it to the appropriate local field office. So no, you can't pick which office it goes to, USCIS decides that on your location.

Honestly don't think we even looked, even with GC it just arrived in the mail. We weren't overly stressing when it came to checking the updates honestly. But my guess would be 1-2 weeks.

Yea, while we didn't have an interview, ours didn't change until it said "EAD/AP was being produced", then not again for months until "Green Card being produced"...

Agree with the rest. I wouldn't risk it, prioritize and file for AOS. Once you have the NOA1 for the I-485 then you can move around domestically just fine, until then you chance being arrested and detained and possibly deported. But hey whatever floats your boat so to say.

You can afford vacation, but you're not willing to file and pay for AoS - the only thing that keeps you from being deported? Odd priorities.
