Got a notification from USCIS that they were going to schedule our interview within six months (est. Sep 2021) last Tuesday the 5th. That same week on Thursday we got another letter saying they were reusing our biometrics. Then yesterday the 13th we received our interview notice for February the 25th in Alabama (we’re two hours away from Bama office and 40 minutes away from our Atlanta field office that sent the letter, but no one’s complaining 🙂; could have sent us to Iowa if it speeds up the process at this point). Just happy the finish line is quickly approaching for everything!!!

Hello everybody. Is there anybody here from tampa? I filed sept 12, only received the email (and mail copy) after online submission but that’s about it.

You haven't given me the source. Each case is different and from what lawyers have said most WoM are successful. A lawyer will tell you the success rate of a WoM, they usually wont even file it if they know it'll likely fail. It tarnishes their reputation. 
Like i've said multiple times, 99% of background checks take less than 3 months. I've worked for a background check firm. WoM is not a big gamble if you have a good lawyer and a good background. Most people know if their background is good or bad. Most people know if they have done things that are criminal. 
 
Also, please stop putting words in my mouth. I never said WoM forces them to approve your case.
 
Bottom line is, if an applicant who has a good background is waiting more than ~10 months in AP should consult a lawyer and look at their options (which include WoM)

I have a feeling there is more to this story.......as in what was actually said during the interview.

Not true.  The stimulus check is a tax credit, something that eligible taxpayers are entitled to.  It is not a publicly-funded benefit like food stamps that casts doubt on someone's financial capacity.  Stop with the fearmongering.

Interview was very straight forward the officer was really nice. My office handled same day oath ceremony in Helena, Montana. Overall was about 30 mins for interview and being sworn in but ended up taking almost 2 hours mostly in an empty waiting room with no phone because their laptop broke 😂

Jumping in here. We filed N400 for my wife on September 29, 2020, received NOA on October 07 and had interview today (12/28). Whole process went very smoothly and recommendation for approval was received. Now we just have to wait for notification of oath taking ceremony. I can’t believe how quick the citizenship process went, especially compared to ROC which we waited almost 21 months for.

Mine yo-yo'd this month.  July '21 since filing then earlier this month it showed June '21.  I just checked and it went back to July '21.

Driving down this evening to have my interview first thing tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed! 

We did receive our biometric reuse notice dated 12/10. The estimated completion date still showed Oct 2021 up until today. Hopefully that means you will hear soon about the biometrics. 🤞

Haven't checked in here in a while  Status changed today online to Interview Scheduled.. now waiting for the letter or for them to upload the document to my USCIS page so I can check when it's scheduled for. I hope it by or before my birthday. That'd be a great start of my thirties!
