  1. Agree. I would try that first. If that is impossible, I would: Boarding Foils - U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Morocco (usembassy.gov)
  2. Who turned the vile hate speech he constantly heard from the leftist media and dem politicians into evil action. "Hitler" "Existential threat to democracy" "Dictator" "The end to our way of life". This is not harmless rhetoric.
  3. What would you call misrepresenting the intent of a visa? She should have applied for a B2. That is the proper visa.
  4. She does not qualify for a Green Card. It is not a glorified tourist visa. Who advised you to do this? The CO will, likely, deny the application.
  5. Work permits and advance parole are not applicable to immigrant visas. You might want to study the spousal visa guides here on VJ. You spouse might qualify for DCF (direct consular filing) if you have exceptional circumstances. All processing would be done at the consulate. The other route is to begin the spousal visa process by the US spouse submitting the I-130 to USCIS. Good luck and welcome to Visa Journey.

  16. I think you'll get great news soon.
  17. It is recommended to wait until after the visa is in hand and has been checked for errors.
  18. Visas are approved after the interview and only after all administrative processing is complete. Verbal approvals are not binding. Sounds like everything is normal. Your only official approval will be noted by the CEAC status.

  22. Here is a reference for when a visa holder becomes a legal resident: Requirements for Immigrant and Nonimmigrant Visas | U.S. Customs and Border Protection (cbp.gov) " Immigrant Visa An immigrant visa is issued to a foreign national who intends to live and work permanently in the United States. In most cases, a relative or employer sponsors the individual by filing an application with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Certain applicants such as workers with extraordinary ability, investors, and certain special immigrants can petition on their own behalf. The application is later forwarded to the appropriate U.S. Consulate or Embassy overseas for continued processing and issuance of the immigrant visa to the intending immigrant, if eligible. An intending immigrant must present the immigrant visa at a U.S. port-of-entry prior to the expiration of the immigrant visa. An intending immigrant becomes a lawful permanent resident once the immigrant visa and accompanying paperwork is reviewed and endorsed by a CBP Officer. For specific information regarding immigrant visa classifications and requirements, refer to the USCIS website or the Department of State website."
