  1. It is actually "Have been found in violation of any customs, immigration or agriculture regulations or laws in any country;" Eligibility for Global Entry | U.S. Customs and Border Protection (cbp.gov)
  2. If you sent the current form, then there is likely something else wrong with the package. I have seen this happen, although it has been a while. I would go to the USCIS website, download a new form, and review the guide here on VJ before resubmitting a completely new package. . Good luck.
  3. See above for some of info you want. I'm not an expert in K2 visas.
  4. **Old thread locked. Please start a new topic***
  5. Just be prepared to show strong ties to home country. If asked, just explain that she is going to exit the US on-time at the end of her temporary visit.
  6. The consulate officer is the sole approval authority for all visas. ...not NVC.
  7. Fact: County Voter registration kiosks were sitting right outside the door the day my wife took her oath in 2023 at the Plano Civic Center in Plano, Texas. Several surrounding county offices were represented. They allowed her to fill out the registration form on the spot. Two weeks later, wife received her voter registration card from our county (Dallas).
  8. That is a common misconception, imo. Most all of the processing time is because petitions sit in a pile until a human can open them, check that the basics are there, process the payment, and finally send receipt notices. That is just to enter them into the system. When a petition arrives, there are already thousands of petitions in the pipeline awaiting processing. At the California Service Center, there is More waiting and sitting in another pile. There, every petition package must be scrutinized by human eyes to ensure that the petitioner and beneficiary meet the requirements to continue the I-129f process. I am also knowledgeable in IT. I see no way to take the human aspect out of the process. The only solution, in my mind is hiring more humans. To do that, fees would have to be an enormously increased. This part of immigration is self supported by us. ---Just my observations over the last 8 years here.
  9. That is always the case for any visitor. Every person seeking admission as a visitor is already assumed to have immigrant intent.
  10. Listen to this Obama fundraiser totally rip Biden, Harris and their policies. I couldn't believe my ears. Then he seems to endorse the anti-democratic scheme to bypass Harris.
  11. Coming to the US as a visitor with the intent to marry is perfectly legal. Coming to the US as a visitor with the intent to stay and adjust status is visa fraud. If asked, she must tell the truth.
  12. Agree. Jack Smith has never been confirmed. Pretty simple stuff. Overview of Appointments Clause | Constitution Annotated | Congress.gov | Library of Congress "He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law:"
  13. The name discrepancy might be cleared up if she carries a name change documents such as marriage certificate to connect the dots between the names. There are no customs checks or stamps when exiting the US, so no one gets an exit stamp. I don't know of any requirement for a US passport to have foreign stamps. Some countries don't use them.
  14. The law states that a US citizen must enter and exit the US with a valid US passport, but that doesn't mean you must enter another country using a US passport. For example, my wife exits the US with her US passport, but she enters Taiwan with her TW passport as a Taiwanese citizen. She exits Taiwan with her Taiwan passport, but enters the US with her US passport...all legal. My research shows that Cambodia allows dual citizenship.
  15. If she is a dual citizen, why can't she just enter Cambodia with her Cambodian passport? That what many, if not most, dual citizens do.
  16. What is the priority date for the F4 case? There is no need to close the prior case. You just send I-130s to start IR-5 cases. Multiple I-130s are not a problem.
  17. If she had a pending I-751, I'm surprised they didn't call you in and conduct separate interviews. Congratulations in getting USCIS off your back....
  18. 1. You petition mother. The process will take a couple years. 2. After arriving in the US, Mother petitions your sister. That will take several years. @Boiler stated the only way for them to immigrate together if sister cannot be left behind. Sister's case, through only you, will take more than 20 years. I understand the problem, but, under current law, I don't see a faster way. Your mother is considered to be an immediate relative of a US citizen. There is no waiting for a visa number, thus it is relatively fast ( a couple years). Your sister is NOT considered to be an immediate relative of a US citizen. People in that category must wait until a visa number is available since there is a cap on the number of immigrants. There is a long, long line ahead of her waiting for a visa number. That's why sister case will take much longer.
  19. Your petitioning mother to immigrate will take a couple years. Your petitioning your sister to immigrate will take 20+ years.
  20. In your previous thread, you asked about petitioning your whole family. @Boiler just gave you the answer if petitioning mother only. But that will take more than 20 years.
  21. This immigration question was answered in your previous thread. I have merged the 2 threads. Please don't duplicate this question in another new thread.
