What Georgia said is your best option. This is a common RFE and the best response is always to send the full TOS and highlight the section where they state it is not an IMB. Also, email their customer service with the question and then print out their response and send that as well.
This is what many others have done and they have been approved.

Can you do some lighter or modified yoga poses? It might actually help strengthen the strain! Possibly, but I am nowhere near a doctor or personal trainer....
Successfully beat my elliptical pace by many strides per minute yesterday! Lots of icky sweating did ensue...
If AB exercises make it worse have you tried general resistance training while you can't do any ab work? Just with light weights? Not being able to work out is no fun
I cooked asparagus, chicken, and roasted red potatoes for dinner last night, happily ingested si, man!

Just found out my neighbour passed away on Sunday
He had a type of leukemia but it was something that you could still live a long life with as long as you had treatment.
2 and a half weeks ago he ended up in the hospital for kidney failure. He just started getting on the mend from that and started his new chemo (they had to change it) and he just went down hill.
His wife said there was no way he would have been able to do another round of chemo even if he recovered. She said it was multiple organ failure.
While they were in the hospital treating his kidney failure. Their dog had a stroke, and she got fired. She worked at that place for 16+ years as a paralegal and they suddenly decided that they had too many.
She's been at her daughters as they don't want her to be alone. All she want's to do is lay on the floor and cry All I could do is hug her, it's just terrible he was a great guy and only 60.

I am in the same boat as you! Same approval date and everything! I am hoping our cases are together somewhere and we hear news soon!
Per some of the advice in this topic I called USCIS last Friday and got no information, including if it had been sent or not... so I did as the Tier 2 officer told me and put in an inquiry. Hopefully if they give me an update they will have one for your case at the same time... I assume they are in the same post at this point... here is hoping anyway!
I am glad to see that some of you guys are getting updates... I can't believe how absurd this nonsense is with the USCIS... honestly how hard is it to mail something from one state to the next.... this really should be digitized by now!! I got my mortgage all done through online and that was LOADS more paperwork than this was!!!
Ninz- Did you contact your Senator again? I know you said they haven't responded to him, but maybe if you get on his tail they will get more on their tails and get you an answer soon!

Kat&Jon reacted to elmcitymaven in Tape Reveals Donald Trump Bragging About Kissing and Groping Women
I have a boss who gets it and really is a genuine proponent of women. He is a powerful, savvy, talented guy at the top of his game and he knows how to really respect a woman -- treat her like a god damn human being with the capacity to be powerful, savvy and talented too. It's a fantastic motivator. I work hard for him and produce results because I know he has my back. It's very easy in my office, where I have this awesome boss, to forget that this BS still happens out in the world.
All it takes is one client to remind you the world don't work like that. Some think I'm "just" a secretary because I'm the only woman in the office (I'm not the secretary -- that young guy sitting in reception runs our admin team) and ask my boss to tell his "girl" to go get them some coffees. Or one of them might casually mention that there are real risks in hiring women in their 30s, since they're all itching to get married and have teh baybeez at all times. (This was said in front of me, like I was going to agree.) Or the client who mentioned that he had decided not to go ahead with a deal because the other side was led by a woman, and "you know how they can get, and she seemed to be getting pretty emotional about everything." (This client was frankly ridiculously emotional himself and needed constant handholding and talking down off the proverbial ledge.) My boss is very good about correcting these clients about "how the wimminz are" and cautions them about making generalizations, but this happens, and not that rarely. But as a woman, hearing this stuff on a regular basis hurts. It makes you angry more than it makes you sad or scared. It makes you want to kick these losers where it would actually hurt, since destroying them intellectually would be lost on their puny brains. (See: Clinton v. Trump.) To these morons, that you are a woman means that you start from an inferior position simply by dint of being born with an XX instead of an XY. I have many things to say about these men, but none of them are VJ friendly in the slightest.
Anyone who wants to say this is only locker room talk and so it's okay needs to really think about that. Think about how you would feel Trump were saying he could just grab your sister in the ladyparts because he's famous, and she'd just go along with it. How you'd feel if Trump said he'd kiss your wife even if she didn't want it, or that he'd pursue her even though she's married. How your wife would feel if she knew she was just an interchangeable piece of meat. Average men don't get treated like this. Average women do.
Women KNOW what men talk about. Most of us here are old enough to have been around men on many, many occasions when they are unguarded. We know the difference between the merely vulgar and a claim that forced sexual attention is somehow okay in certain circumstances. We know crass guy talk, the boasting about how many women you've slept with, or how you got some hot chick to let you put your pee-pee in her hoo-hoo. Women are vulgar and crass too, not delicate flowers in need of the fainting couch and smelling salts when dudes start spinning yarns of sexual bravado. But assault? No. Not acceptable, no more than if someone I knew was bragging about grabbing someone else's laptop. Or repeatedly stealing laptops because hey, who's going to stop them?

Kat&Jon reacted to ShadowCelica in K-1 Visa Interview Breakdown - What happens (London)
Hi all again ^^ I've decided to write down my experience for the K-1 visa Interview and what happened, so to help those who have yet to go through it. When trawling the internet for any kind of answer myself, I didn't really find anything, so I'm hoping this helps! My visa is a K-1 visa to travel from the UK to the USA ^^
After going through all the processes online, booking the medical exam, and finalizing everything, I was given a date of 27th September as my interview date at the London US Embassy. My time was 12:00, though could be let into the building as early as 11:30 (They allow you in half hour before your given time slot). I had to really try and research up whether I could take my mobile phone in with me... It was never really clear and kept getting mixed signals from different forums, but I can confirm they DO allow you to take your phone in, it's just large rucksacks/weaponry that they have an issue with. And motorbike helmets.
Anyway, I arrived in the park area just outside the Embassy at around 10:30, so I had an hour to kill, panicking to my best friend over the phone and trying to calm down. Once 11:30 hit, I made the short walk over to where I guessed the entrance was, and saw there was a white tent outside the embassy, with the mention of visas running across the top (I can't remember the exact wording, but I knew that's where I had to go). I queued behind a gentleman and waited for a few minutes whilst a lady at a small portable stall took my original embassy letter (The one they send you when the case is first sent to the London Embassy), and my passport. I was then told to wait outside a small greenhouse looking building, where Security would see me through. They don't let you inside until they've checked your passport and letter, and then they do a scan or your bag, and you walk through a metal detector, a very similar process to how the airports do it. Once they clear you, you're let through another glass door, and you're finally in the gates to the Embassy (Still outside the main building however). I followed the path round, and there is a stair case that leads to a small reception inside, to which a very friendly lady looked at my letter, issued me a number, and told me to take a seat in the waiting area.
There are stair cases either side of the reception, but the left one is what leads you to the waiting area, so I followed it up, and finally got to see where I would be for the next 3 hours. It's a long rectangular room, the seats organized in two columns, 5(?) seats in each row, so plenty of places to sit. All the numbers issued have a letter before it, which I can only presume is dependent upon what visa you are applying for. The numbers go up in order, taking into consideration your number. Mine was I 921, and when I first walked in, I 907 was being called, so I had a wait. There's a large screen up the front of the room, where the number flashes up along with what window you need to visit (The windows are rather like the booths you can get at the post office, or travel agent). A noise also goes off to inform you that a number is being called. Eventually my number flashed up, and I was called to a window in the next room, to which I was then speaking with a lady that asked for my documents each in turn.
I was asked who my sponsor was, and I answered it was my fiance, and she made general conversation about my name (Second name being Millen, so I get asked a lot if I'm related to Karen Millen. She's actually my second-cousin XD ). She was friendly, and then once she had all my documents, told me to take a seat back down, and that I'd be called again. This was the longest wait, so be prepared! I got extremely bored and tired during this, I'd forgotten my book in the desperate rush of the morning... though I feel it would have been difficult to concentrate anyway.
My number was eventually called again, and I was asked to go to a different window, to which I realized was my actual interview... talk about nervous! I approached the window to see a (very smiley) woman, who started things quite quickly, after asking how I was, and started asking how my fiance and I met, how many times we'd seen each other, what does he do for a living, how many times have I been over there, how many times has he been here etc etc. It was more like a general conversation than an actual interview, and she seemed really rather interested in what I had to say. After a few moments, she asked about the issues I'd had with my surname, as I appeared to be missing a document. I explained that my original surname was Millen, though in 2003, my mother got married to my stepfather, changing my surname to Smith. In 2013 I changed it back to Millen, after being estranged to my mother for 2 years by that point, but had no documentation of my surname change to Smith (As she withheld all documents and belongings I needed when i moved out, including GCSE results). This meant that various documents were showing up with the Smith surname on them, despite me having Millen legally. I explained what happened, and she seemed to understand, writing on a document for a short few moments, before finally telling me that my visa had been approved.
Talk about relief! She gave me my original documents back, and told me that my visa should be with me within 1-2 weeks, and that I was free to go. The whole interview took around 10 minutes, but honestly felt a lot shorter than that! True to form, I got my visa in the mail on the 4th October, and am now looking forward to flying out!
Hopefully this helps people, and if you have questions at all, I'd be happy to answer them as best as I can, I may do a topic on the medical examination needed prior to the interview.
And to all those of you going for your interview... I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks CRamak! I hope they are together and that we can get the good news together!!!
I am glad you have your dates though Cushid and I am so glad to hear you will be with your fiance before your graduation! That is awesome!
I did call the USCIS and spoke with a Tier II agent today. They reminded me of the 30 day wait and they said that if the NVC doesn't have my case by Monday Oct 17 that I need to place an inquiry with them. He did help me fill out an inquiry with the USCIS through the online form. He had me select the lost form choosing other and explaining that my case was sent to the NVC and other people have received their case number with my same approval date and country but the NVC is still telling me mine hasn't been received. He said they have to respond to me by October 29th with any information they can find. He said this should include the date that they mailed my petition to the NVC since that is what I am really curious about.
I feel like I made a little progress today. I will do what he says about sending the inquiry if my case is not received by Monday 10/17. He said to wait to do the inquiry until after the 30 days because the NVC is very strict about trying to do anything early.
I just wanted to share this information with anyone still waiting at the NVC I am at day 22 and my Tier 2 officer didn't guarantee any news about my case since it is technically still early, but he said this is a possible option to get an answer since we can't call CSC directly. It does give me a little glimmer of hope, even though it is just a very small glimmer at this point. I will take any hope I can get lol.
I wish us continued luck and far smoother process than mine to all at this point. I would not wish these worries on my worst enemy!!!

Even if you are living abroad and have no income the US still requires you to file a tax return. If you are using assets to prove income then the tax forms are not required you will need evidence of his assets such as the past six months of statements showing his savings acct balance, the details on a mortgage (if thats being used), etc.

Kat&Jon got a reaction from TBoneTX in Advice on how to stall K1 process after receiving NOA2
The K1 Petition is Valid for 4 months after approval. You would need to have your interview with 4 months of your approval date. Calling the Embassy and telling them the reason why you need to delay it will extend it. Also, make sure when you get to your interview you have a new Letter of Intent to marry from your USC Fiance to confirm that they are still interested in moving forward with the petition. This is needed as proof that the USC is aware of the delay and agrees to the delay.
I have to do this process as well. I was advised to trickle in the information little by little. For example, NOA 2 in August, fill out your DS 260 form in October, Schedule your Medical in December, and Fill out your applicant readiness form in December and pay your visa fee as you fill out your readiness form. Then once your readiness form is in you can schedule your interview for January.
You don't have to use the time frames I listed above, just do what works best for you with your work schedule. Just make sure you get a new letter of intent to marry from your USC fiance with your I-134 paperwork that is dated close to your interview date.

Kat&Jon reacted to Scandi in Delay K-1 Process, at what step can we delay it?
I found this link too: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-information-services/contact-us-immigrant-visas/?_ga=1.176002347.863799514.1467139722

"A fiance(e) visa petition is valid for four months from the date on which it is approved. If you are unable to apply for the visa before the petition expires, your U.S. citizen fiance should furnish a statement confirming his/her intention to marry you within 90 days of your arrival in the United States. This statement should be presented on the day of your visa interview."

So it does seem like it automatically extends if you can't make it within those 4 months, but you need a new letter of intent from your fiancé for when you finally go to the interview.

    KayDeeCee,
Its only been in relation to the Letters of Intent to Marry for an RFE regarding "wet" signature. There are 2 in my current Master RFE list according to my detailed list from the transfer. That is hardly any at all when you look at the big picture, and that adjudicator must have just been extra picky that day. As far as the G-325A forms, my notes don't indicate that an RFE for a "wet" signature has happened in over 3 years from the data transfer.
I know the RFE for "wet" signature thing is pretty rare, but I still like to be honest about it since I did have two in the list in the past year from when I transferred the original post. I just like to let people know that albeit rare, it has happened recently but ONLY for the letters of intent.
    Stealth_69,
Thank you so much for your detailed response and I will get you added into the big list once we hear back about that approval that hopefully is coming your way!
Thanks again to everyone who continues to post about your RFE or questions you have about the RFE process! You guys are what help others get approvals with your great information so I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to this thread!!!

Nothing to do with a K-1. Everyone is different and uprooting to a new country is certainly stressful. Also, living together constantly instead of honeymoon/vacation visits that you might have had in the past is also something to take into consideration. Certainly patience, compromise, compassion, empathy and support are needed. I'd take a good look at why you are fighting. Power struggle, nosy relatives, children, respect, ego, cultural differences, religious beliefs, used to doing things your own ways etc. These are all issues that need to be worked on quickly before they cause resentment.
