It's also possible for USCIS to re-affirm the petition without any further involvement, and for them to send the petition back to the NVC on their own.
    A NOIR isn't guaranteed.

The above is not helpful. It is a poor summary. What you need is a detailed report including each and every question asked, in the order asked, and each and every answer given. The devil is in the details and you haven't provided any. I'm not who you need to convince. Your wife needs the information so she can convince USCIS to reaffirm their approval of the petition. If you are serious about being together with your wife in the USA, you'll have to put 100 times the effort into the report you provide for her, than you did for what you wrote above. Otherwise, you can kiss this marriage goodbye.

Try that at a job interview and see, how many skilled job interviews you nail.
It has nothing to do with real or fake.
If OP answers questions with long stories or long background stories, CO would cut the interview short and OP will miss the opportunity to land at the answers.
So you need to practice and know how to answer questions precisely and straight to the point.
When I see folks from easy embassy with this attitude like [ if it's real you get through]. How many of the divorce and marriage scams haven't you read about on here? Those "real' people got here. While genuine couples had to go through more than 2 times to get approved.

What are you talking about? A very high rate of couples going through the Ghana embassy are denied and sent back to USCiS to be revoked. That embassy has a high denial rate. In 2011 Ghana had almost a 60% denial rate. I'm sure today is higher. Please stick to the facts. Thank you.

But that's you. I'm sure you have read on Internet even here on VJ people getting married and they have spouse with kids in their country. They Pretend THE Came Maybe EVEN Have A Child OR 2 IN Thst 3 Tears To citizenship. You can never underestimate the power of what someone will do to get what they want.
This is why many of the African countries especially Ghana and Nigeria are so dang hard because of these so call oretenders. So we all are suspect.
If getting pregnant and having kids together was a guarantee to an approval we all would be doing it.

It's all about the choices we make. Some choose to wait until they are finished with the visa process and living under the same roof before they start having children.
Some choose to live in the other partner's country while they wait.
Your choice was to live apart and have children before the immigration procedure was completed.
That's how the government sees it - you had alternatives but you chose this option.

People should not answer unless they are sure of the information they are giving. But keep in mind, even then, there can still be a few mistakes made here and there. However, there are too many that post something they read 'somewhere' as actual fact, even if they have no idea if it is or not. Hearsay posting happens a lot, unfortunately. There are also those that post about a subject they know nothing about, and either post misinformation they made up, and/or tag it with a warning of, 'I might be/could be/probably am wrong.', or 'I don't really know, BUT....'
If you know you are probably wrong and post misinformation often, and do not really know the answer to the question, then do not answer. It is that simple. There are a lot of questions posted here daily. Answer the ones you know the answers to, and move along and skip over the ones you do not.
All that being said, there are not really any definite answers someone could give you for AP. AP times vary greatly. There is no time frame for it. It can be days, weeks, months, or years. No one can ever guarantee a time frame for how long you will be in AP. This is stated quite often in the Waivers and AP forum.

Since this is a DIY site and not a site full of just immigration lawyers and USCIS agents, you will always have bits of misinformation.
Sorry, but you simply cannot demand that others be correct at all times. Even our resident "experts" who have been here for years can make mistakes when they type, have outdated info, or remember something incorrectly. That is why when a question seems to have been answered already, there are still many other VJ members chiming in either to confirm or deny what was stated. Plus, when I am wrong about process or a step, I would want to know and unfortunately one of the best ways to pound the correct info into youor head is to have lots of other members (figuratively) pound you on your head because of the error. Even with a few hiccups here and there, I believe VJ is a wonderful resource that tends to lead others in the right direction.

The thing is, the pictures are not of him with his fiance, the pictures are of his fiance with ANOTHER person. Trying to prove a bonafide relationship when they have an open relationship may be difficult to explain.

They may have seen it all, but from OP's first post I understood that they're in an open relationship and his fiancée was in the picture with a friend, not OP.
USCIS may not be so understanding in this case, when the picture is of the beneficiary with someone else, not the petitioner.
Explicit material was removed from the first post. So my understanding is that the fiancée and a friend were doing some, well explicit stuff.

Hey guys any news from USCIS with the NOIR/NOID because I'm waiting for it now. It's been a year and month now since I was refused visa at Ghana embassy and the case was returned on November 19 2015. They gave us 6 month to go through but they are now saying one year. We have written to the ombudsman yesterday for assistance since senators and congressman are not able to do anything. The are saying they will let us know withing 45 days if they can helps us. May God help us all.

Mrs Bonsu means that when you go to visit his family and have any kind of traditional "blessing" it will be thought of as traditionally
married by the CO even if you just think it is just a blessing/introduction/bringing drinks.
It has happened many times in the past in Ghana and Nigeria embassies and if you talk about it in the interview and show photos
be very careful or he will be denied. It does not matter that you did not get married, from the perspective of the CO you are.
Therefore wear your western clothes, no traditional clothing when you do the "blessing" and just make it a little dinner getting
acquainted with his family. You want photos with the family but be very careful what kind of photos and be careful when he describes
any "blessing event" to the CO. It is crazy and unfair but it is what it is. Too many here have been denied doing just that and
end up being denied for being deemed married by the CO with just an engagement.

May I suggest you read through the country portal in which you will be applying for him, if he or you got to that interview and tell them what your posting here they will say your married and deny your k1 and tell you to do a cr1, if your doing fiancé then have proof for fiancé, if your gonna marry in his country then have proof for a marriage it is that simple, wanting to learn his culture is fine, but leave it out of your interview, good luck ?

I will definitely keep you guys informed. I'm learning there is some kind of battle between USCIS and the embassies. In the NOIR the consulate says we had no bonifide marriage. Never mentioned our child at all. Some argue they are doing there jobs. That maybe the case. But I honestly feel there is some discrimination at this embassy.

Your question can't be answered by us, whether you give him the passport or not it is still up to the consular, which you have to prove them that your marriage is bona fide and this is a very tough embassy! Because Ghana is considered a high fraud country you should read through Ghana portal to get a idea of what your dealing with, and good luck
