nompish got a reaction from Unlockable in Filing I-131 Reentry Permit and leaving directly after
How about your parents come, and they file for your brother and then they alternate going to be with him until he can come here permanently? have one go for a year, come back and the other goes too? Wouldn't that take care of the "ties to the US" part? My two cents
Sincethe ultimate goal is for you to take over care for your brother when your parents are gone, why not just file for him and have them only come over once his papers are ready? They can stay with him the next 15 years or so without having to worry about re-entry permits. not so popular i know but given the circumstances it might be the most prudent path?

nompish reacted to jskibo in June 2019 Filers of I-130 for the U.S Citizens
Got the paper notices today. None of the paper notices contain beneficiary name, only petitioner.
Had to create two new my.uscis accounts as they won't link to existing accounts or each other when adding a paper account.
Once you add the paper filed case number and the code / birthdate, it give you access to the online documents. Should be a copy of the receipt they mailed you as well as your documents they (USCIS) scanned and uploaded. Interesting that all the supporting documents are uploaded in one big file, but they don't scan the I-130. Only way I could tell the difference of who would be attached to which case number is my Father In Law application contains one extra document, the parents marriage license.

nompish got a reaction from sruiz26 in Knightsbridge Sputum Test
This happened to me too, i had scar tissue from bronchitis. Went for my interview anyway without completed medical. They approved me pending receipt of medical. 6 weeks after culture test came out negative Doc sent my medical to embassy and i was asked to drop off my passport. Visa was issued 3 days later.

Have called courthouse and the lady confirmed she only has oath times for 9am and 11am. I have sent a message to USCIS via the DHS website. Am so glad i double checked this otherwise was gonna get there and find an empty courthouse. Cant lie, am so annoyed right now
