Hello All,

I am starting a new thread for July 2019 filers of i-130 for parents. I just mailed an application for my mother today. Please join the conversation and share your journey/process.

Removal of Conditions

April 12, 2016 - ROC application mailed to VSC

April 14, 2016 - ROC application delivered to VSC

May 5, 2016 - Check cashed

May 8, 2016 - NOA received, dated 4/15/2016

May 21, 2016 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 6/2/16

May 8, 2017 - ROC approval letter received, dated 5/3/2017

May 17, 2017 - New card received

 

N-400

June 14, 2017 - N-400 application mailed to Lewisville, TX

June 16, 2017 - N-400 application delivered.

June 19, 2017 - Card charged

June 26, 2017 - NOA received, dated 6/20/2017

June 30, 2017 - Biometrics letter received, appointment date 7/13/17

Aug 29, 2017 - In line for interview

Feb 12, 2018 - Status changed to interview scheduled

Feb 16, 2018 - Received interview letter, dated 2/13/18; interview date: 3/22/18

March 22, 2018 - Naturalization interview. Approved!

April 6, 2018 - Initial oath ceremony scheduled. Had to write to reschedule because of pre-planned trip

May 25, 2018 - Oath ceremony. Now a US citizen!

 

IR-5 for Parent

July 16, 2019 - Mailed i-130 application to Chicago Lockbox

July 18, 2019 - Application delivered

July 23, 2019 - Card charged and received receipt number by text message

July 27, 2019 - NOAs received, dated 7/22 and 7/23. Priority date 7/18/19. Assigned Potomac Service Center.

March 23 2020: Received NVC email. Turns out i-130 petition was approved March 18. Found out by logging into USCIS account.

Update: I reached out to a state senator for assistance on this immigration case. That was on September 21, 2021. The senator's office replied on September 22, 2021 that they will be reaching out

Both Received July 5th (Texts and Email)

Assigned IOE numbers and forwarded to Nebraska

Both charges posted to credit card July 7th

I797 received from Nebraska July 15th and dated July 10th

How long did it get everyone to get an E-notification using G-1445? 

 

I submitted my I-130's on 7/17 to the Chicago Lockbox. I live in Chicago so assuming it arrived 7/18 or 7/19. Haven't had my credit card charged, or notified yet.

for me it took them a week to charge my credit card.

I also filed mine on the 07/17 it should have been received on the 07/20 but I have not received any notifications.

I submitted my I130 on July 17th too. It was deliver on 7/19. They charged my credit card on 7/23. I just got my Receipt number few minutes ago thru my email and text message, will receive the hard copy in 7-10 business days. Check your junk mail coz that's where I received my receipt number.

Naturalized US citizen last May 23, 2019

Filed my mom I-1130 on July 14, 2019

Received via txt and email NOA1 on July 16, 2019

Received NOA1 via mail on July 18, 2019

IO# and Priority date, beneficiary name indicated in the letter

They send my application to Texas Service Center for review

About a year, maybe a little more.  Pretty much same as other I-130 processing times by center
