yes I did read the article, what makes you think I did not?

His assessment of the article is correct, the military is not there to enforce law, but to augment those who do have the authority to do so, no violation of Posse Comitatus, do you honestly think that some left leaning judge in California, New York or Massachusetts has not self-immolated over their lack of ability to spin this to their advantage?

Just like when active duty assits in natural disasters in support role.

Now if it was a matter of citizens inside our borders rioting, I believe Marshall law has to be declared, otherwise the Sates Natl Guard is used on states orders.

LBJ pulled a slick one , when put the natl guard enforcing segregation on Federal Orders

He is the first member of Mr Trump's inner circle to be jailed over the special counsel's inquiry into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

He has pleaded guilty to multiple crimes including campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress.

In court Cohen lashed out his ex-boss.

Cohen, 52, told Judge William Pauley in the Manhattan courthouse that Mr Trump caused him to "follow a path of darkness rather than light".

He told the court his "weakness was a blind loyalty to Donald Trump" and that he "felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds".

And not one single charge had anything to do with Russian collusion.

Who says I don't like private ownership of guns?

    I never said that

Did you watch it?  I guess not,.  It was Schumer and Pelosi that were having the tantrums because they are completely against transparency.  I think Nancy asked at least 4 times to send the press away and Chuck at least once or twice.  I suppose you might actually believe it when the Democrats talk about transparency, I guess that is only sometimes.  Trump follows the US Constitution, he allows the press to see the discussions/debates, etc. quite refreshing and a far cry from the supposed dictator tag he has been painted with by the biased mainstream media and the extreme leftist followers.

And that was the tell. Why were they so afraid of the press and open govt.

If we do not like the law that provides for folks to request asylum, then change the law.  That is Trumps real goal.  He wants to rile folks up over the current law.

I am 100 % certain that if we process the claims in an orderly fashion, we will find the bad actors.

So if you dont like private ownership of guns, you would agree we change the 2nd amnd?

  6. In all seriousness,  since collusion by powerful foreign figures is the topic of the day!

Here you have the richest man in India who has given millions to a recent Presidential candidate, which I am sure buys him influance.

I thought typing the word collusion? Would be sufficient for most of average cognative abilities , to get the point.. I guessed I misjudged my favorite fan base and overestimated.  Sorry but I just don't need a war and peace novel to get the point.

I am sure most of you got it.

While at the outset, this seems like a great accomplishment,  we need to ask:

    1) How much did it cost to build the turbines?

    2) What is the lifespan of a turbine?

    3) What are the associated maintenance costs?

My experience with them is that they are VERY expensive to erect and maintain, so much so that when they break, they are usually just abandoned.  Hawaii is a great example as to how well they (don't) work.  But at least they went from killing birds and bats to becoming safe roosts.

I remember a story a while back. They wanted to put a wind farm near the Kennedy compound hyannis port. The valiant knights of all things liberal went to court and sued to block it. Becuse it would mess up their view. Maybe not the exact details,  but I a. Limited to a phone right now

Even if it doesn't make a difference, it is still what we should aspire to do.

I think I also said earlier I draw a distinction between insulting the President (or former President) and insulting a group of people that may be partially represented here.

Also certainly insulting a person here directly (or indirectly) is a step above, which is why I used the "TDS" acronym as the perfect. That is used to directly reference people here, and it is intended to be an insult. I've seen it very frequently since I came back and it's not cool in my opinion.

We can insult public figured all we want. We cross a line when we start calling each other names, or baiting each etc...it's a frequent problem in this forum.

I am a bit flattered that you go from thread to thread  , making me the subject of your posts. The fish aren't biting today. Peace out

I believe the UK actually sent criminals to the American colonies first, then of course after the American Revolution the UK had to find somewhere else.  I don't think the whole of Australia was one big prison colony, but the UK certainly sent several criminals there.

As to my comment, I believe the Australian government runs several immigration detainment centers some of them on very remote islands, but some of them also on the mainland, so it is not entirely the same thing.

The state of Georgia was founded as a place to dump the people in Englands debtor prisons

I think they need to increase the term of a Representative from two to four years and reduce the term of a Senator from six to four. Make it uniform right across the board. The problem with two years for a Representative is they spend the majority of the time campaigning for their re-election bid instead of doing their job. Senators get too comfortable in my opinion, six years is a long time and they need to be kept on their toes more.

By god you finally did it
