On paper it looks like the right decision.
-
Why did you not ask her when she gave you the form?
-
If she doesnt apply 0%, if she applies, 50%.
Let us know the result.

Doesn't matter, either if coming for tourism.
I picked B1/B2 just so I had the option for a business trip if needed within the next 10 years.

so i have a 3-year ban no matter what the lady at the consulate said? because she seems to have looked at the wrong i-94. she must have looked at the one that was before that one which would add up to 1 year and 2 months. i exited and entered after that, though. but wouldn't they have all entry dates in the system? don't understand how they would make a mistake? i sent them an email anyway saying that i think they looked at the wrong i-94. even if it doesn't make a difference in me getting a visa . would make me feel better to know i don't have a 10-year ban
She's allowed to lie to you.
She probably saw you were so close to a 10 year ban and thought you deserved it instead of a 3 year, so told you it was a 10.
I would have probably done the same thing if I was in her position.

Sounds like there is a good chance of being turned away as you are already pushing the boundaries to say the least.

This friend of a friend sounds like someone you don't need to be involved with in your life.
I suggest you stop trying to help them and let them make their own mistakes.

How about simply being truthful about her actual length of visit?
+1
And the CO already told her how she can improve her chances - travel to other countries first.
Add to that she has hardly any ties (no job, no kids to look after) and wants to spend 5 months ?! just to 'visit'...well the decision is already made before they made it to the interview...why would the CO even bother looking at some documents?
-
I don't remember signing anything at my B2 interview. Fingerprints yes.
-
No you cannot work while in the US on a tourist visa - remote work included.
Sounds like you do not have many ties to the PH.
All you can do is apply, let us know the result.
-
This is nothing to do with immigration or tourist visas.
You need to sort out your family issues yourself.

Yes I realize that now I had to really search to find lol but I see that can go from Panama to alot of other countries. And that's why I say it's best I don't do the c-1 visa, just got shocked when I.couldnt find no flight not going thru Us , I think I need to delete this post cause some ppl really just getting on my nerves lol like OK I see now yes there are flight omg!! And I'm not looking a temporary visa or any thing like that my husband is filing for me. Just thought everything went thru Us and got shocked is all I think my problem is I'm sharing too much of my business on this site that's not needed cause some people ,not u* previous is passing there place
Because your story does not add up and it is not fooling anyone!
So you are unemployed, have no home ties and want to 'take a vacation somewhere for a bit'. Errr yea ok!
Maybe think about your prorities in life? A holiday is the last thing on my mind if I have no income.
Maybe it's something to do with the fact your husband is in the US? Want to join him again as you got deported? Looking for the easiest way to do that and thought a C1 visa would be the easiest as its just for 'transit'? Check, check, check.
The door is that way ------>

Sorry , I dont know how to reply.
There is no changes. I dont know what wlse to do. All I want is him to be in US to attend my graduation and meet my daughter. Is it possible if I change the lenth of stay? Instead of 6 months it would be 4?? Would this help?
You are not fooling anyone, especially the CO.
He won't be coming to the US any time soon. Accept it, deal with it. It is not the end of the world.

If you already have a B2 visa and have used it twice then there is not much to be worried about.
Surely you already know the questions they will ask from when you travelled previously?
-
Errr pretty sure you wont be making any medical decisions if it comes to that...thats what doctors are for.

Well i know its a non immigrant visa, sorry didnt mean to say 'immigration' and it is my parents who are going to apply i was just helping them out.
So is it ok for them to give my non permanent address which can change?
Seriously its not that hard to understand the question.
It asks for a contact address. You can give your current address as thats...your current address. People are allowed to change addresses.
If for whatever reason you think this will create a problem (it wont) then give your in laws address.
Stop over complicating a very simple question.

If she wants to stay for 1 month, book 1 month. If for 3, book for 3. Why complicate things?
