You need to change your address when you move with the proper forms or online, the I-751 is not a proper form to inform of your change of address.

You have to give us more information about your case.
Are there any red flags or concerns you have about your application?
What's your husband's previous immigration status?
You mentioned he answered in Italian, is that a typo?

I'm sure you can explain the change of address and it shouldn't be a big deal. Did you guys bring some evidence to your interview?
I guess right now there is nothing else to do but wait. I know it sucks. But even if you do get a second interview, it's not the end of the world. If your relationship is genuine, you'll be fine!
    Good luck with your journey!

USCIS paperwork ignorance is not limited to DMV or HR personnel. There are a bunch of past threads on mortgages during ROC, take a look at those but in summary you could deal with this two ways. Either spend all your time and effort to educate that ignorant underwriter, or find a different lender who is willing to earn your business.

For instance, this is from quicken loans: https://www.quickenloans.com/blog/applying-for-a-mortgage-as-a-permanent-or-nonpermanent-resident-alien clearly stating conditional permanent residents are eligible for mortgage.

What kind of money order? Is it Western Union? Do you have copy of your money order? If yes, you can call the number at the back of the money order to check if the money order was cashed out. During my AOS, we used Wester Union money order and we were able to track if USCIS already cashed out the money.

    You can send one check.

its recommended to send tax transcripts, you can request this from the IRS website.

do not send any original documents, just copies of everything.

yes, you can have different residence address from your home address, especially in your case. Just make sure you complete both on the form and identify which is which. There is a question where you are asked whether your mailing address is different from your residence.

    Hello ,

I did not see a thread for I-751 October 2017 filers so thought of creating a new one. I sent out my package on Oct 2, now waiting to get NOA.

    Good Luck Everyone!

I overloaded the application, so I submitted probably 60 pages of chats. But then when the time came for his interview, it was very easy and they only asked 3 questions. So decide for yourself.

Technically it's not a transfer. The potential employer files a new H-1B petition but doesn't need the current employer's permission. The "transfer' misnomer probably arose because the new H-1B petition isn't cap-subject.

If they haven't changed their system, Biometrics appointment comes for a date approximately 1 month after the submission. Because you would be submitting to Vermont Service Center, I'd recommend sending your package on Day 1 of your eligibility since they are crazy slow for ROCs. It would help if there is someone who could keep an eye on your mails while you are goine. By some chance if your biometrics appointment is scheduled for a date while you are out of country, you could always ask them to re-schedule. You could argue 20 days delay shouldn't change things much but when it comes to VSC, a 20 day delay could mean more than a few months delayed adjudication. Nevertheless, if you don't want to go through this missing the biometrics appointment stress, send your package the day after you come back.

No they cannot move the case quicker. The speed of the case depends on your evidence, your background, a bazillion other factors, and how lazy USCIS is feeling that day. You should hire an attorney if you have a complex case: ie criminal history, any immigration transgressions in countries outside of USA, etc. Because they will know how to deal with it.

If you have a straightforward case, you do not need an attorney.

Of course they know why, they just can't tell you why. Because, you know who is the President and because there was a ban on citizens of certain countries coming into the USA. As this nonsense was happening, they sent your paperwork back and now no one wants to take responsibility. This is why.

But it does not matter because USCIS will never admit to this. Just keep pushing and going for infopass. If possible, get an attorney or Legal Aid involved because this is wrong.

I sincerely wish you the best of luck in this ordeal!

You can not apply for a work visa.  A US employer must apply on your behalf.  Do you have a university degree?

The main problem will be that he has no credit history, not the visa (I am assuming he didn't live in the US before). As the other person above said, you would have to be the primary on the loan and they will also run your credit history.

You should do some loan "shopping" and check what they offer and the mortgage rate they give you. You should also check with them what you can do to get the mortgage rate as low as possible. Small changes in the rate can make a big of difference on the total amount you have to pay.

schedule an appointment to speak to an ombudsman at your local office.
When you call either USCIS or NVC, keep pushing the person to look further. or ask to speak to a tier 2 officer.

The only issue I can see here is your biometrics schedule. Because usually they sent you the schedule of your biometrics a month after they received your application.

Has he introduced her to his family? His friends? Is she willing to convert to his religion? Is he religious? Ask her things like that just to make her think. Ok he talks to her he makes her feel special, but what has he done for her? Regardless of his background a good man, a good husband will do things to take care of the woman. If he asking her for money, if he is hiding her from his family, she should know that this is not going to end well. So ask her these questions, don't tell her he is bad for her. She has to realize on her own.

Dohan got a reaction from Pitaya in Why take the AP?
It took us about 6 months to get the greencard from the moment we filed AOS documents. But our case was very rare because we did not have an interview. However, we knew that we would need to travel to India in December 2015 and did not want to risk NOT having the green card so we applied for AP at the same time when we filed the whole AOS package.
The question is why not? It does not cost extra when you submit your AOS package and it comes with your EAD (it's all one card). Getting AP is more like a "just in case" thing
