address change Do we have to submit change of address?

My husband got his GC 12/10/2015. We moved to a new address 10/31/2016 and are currently in ROC process. I mailed the package on 10/23/2017 and it was received at the VSC on 10/25/2017. We have not received NOA1 yet but I am wondering whether I should have submitted a change of address form or it was sufficient that we listed our new address on all the application forms for ROC and all of our evidence?

 

I'm just getting concerned because they haven't cashed the Money Order yet and I see people at VSC with same date of shipping already have their Biometrics appointment.

You need to change your address when you move with the proper forms or online, the I-751 is not a proper form to inform of your change of address.

I see what you're saying but initially when we filed I-129F we had address X and then we filed his AOS we had address and previously also did not submit change of address and they sent everything to the new address. Now we moved, again, so I just followed suit with what worked before....

I have now completed the change of address online so let's see... Thank you for the link!

Please do note that you need to file as well the I-865 Sponsor's Change Address and send it to them.

Sorry but I'm not seeing anyone who mailed around 10/23 @VSC with Biometric appointments

Just an update, we received our NOA dated October 26th so actually did not need to do the change of address form. My loophole worked again. Feel free to close commenting and thank you to all who responded.
