It may change, and honestly it should, but my point is to not worry about it as it is the entry that makes the final decision, and even people that show IR1 on the portal sometimes erroneously are issued 2 yr GCs. If for some reason that happens to you, you can get it corrected at no cost to you via an I90 filing. Good Luck!

It may or may not change on the portal. In the end it is the US entry date that makes the ultimate decision, and since you are married for over 2 years you are entitled to a 10 yr GC after entry on a spousal visa regardless of what the visa says. Good Luck!

That is what we did when my wife got her GC (we didn't bother with doing it after she got her EAD as the GC came only a month later). This allowed us to remove the DHS note and also change my wife's name in the SSA system. Back then there was no box to check on the I485, or the I765, but even so, I would not trust that the SSA and USCIS area actually coordinated.

Nice car. I saw a lot of Tesla's in the Shanghai area with a lot of interesting colors that I have not seen here. I really have no issues with Tesla, but from a styling standpoint, only the Model S appeals to me (I really don't like the front end of the 3). My biggest concern with Tesla is the lack of styling changes they have made over the years. The 3, Y, X and S really haven't changed much externally since they were launched, and other than the CT, there doesn't appear to be much from Tesla for the future. Sure Tesla is trying to market themselves as a software company, but many people do not buy cars due to software (sure I know you can make those fart noises with Teslas, but people will tire of that just like novelty ringtones), and Tesla is in fact a car company. We will see how things shake out, but I definitely saw a lot of competition of Tesla in China, and those vehicles along with others are coming here eventually. I had one more question, do you get the tax break every time you buy an electric car, or is it a one and done thing?
