ali.cha got a reaction from A&K2021 in OCTOBER 2021 NVC SUBMISSIONS
I submitted all the required docs on late september-early October, then i added optional ones on January. I thought it would take till April since around February, they were reviewing docs submitted on October. I assume, they did not touch my case until now, so i wasted time on stressing over that.

Our case was reviewed today and NVC rejected one document that I submitted under the "NZ Police Certificate" section.
Apparently, the NZ police department sends the results of Police verification directly to the US consulate and NVC who then upload this information on NVC so not sure why they have rejected it. I guess, will have to call and verify with them on this. Sigh.
All other documents were accepted, even the ones that we uploaded on 16-Jan-2022 under additional documents.
** Submission Date - 10/31/2021**

Nov 19th/20th. From all of my experience with documents and stuff, they are not accurate with the dates. I've always got approved before way before the actual date maybe 10-15-20days +/-. Hopefully We'll see soon.

Good news!
Submission date 10/20, added additional documents under "Other" (Explanation for no W2, W2 preview for 2021, explanation for address being different on W2 and my application) in December and January and those documents didn't push our date back because we got DQ'ed today!
However, I'm confused.
I got this in my inbox on NVC site.
My income is quite high. Over $150k a year with only one dependent. Is this because my 2020/2019 AGI was $0 after foreign earned income exemption? I submitted a copy of my 2021 W2 that shows my income going much higher from August last year until now.
I also got this:
What does that mean? I am the spouse, so I'm not sure why it says spouse.
And our child is already a US citizen so she doesn't need a visa.
Last one I'll ask in the East Asia forum.
We did get the email already saying we're documentarily qualified and that next will be the schedule for interview. So I'm guessing I have to bring proof of income to the interview and the consular officer will decide there, but if my W2 wasn't enough, what is?
I have money in my bank account, and I'm still full time employed with my US employer. Pay-stubs, maybe my 2021 income tax statement? I'll be filing my 2021 income tax soon.

Yes it did not affect my original position in the queue
BTW I submitted ALL the Required documents on 10.14
So I think the queue starts after all the necessary documents for the applicant and the beneficiary have been submitted.
Additional documents can be added slowly later.

CR1/IR1 and IR5 have the same timelines as they are actual and don't have to wait for visa numbers.
Call NVC first thing in the am or late at night and you'll get through to a live agent

Her stamped visa works as a GC.
If expired, she just needs an I-551 stamp from her USCIS field ooffice
Your mother's one should be good until October 2022.

I had an RFE in October, had to submit statements about 1099 and W2 forms, uploaded in 'Other'... well i've not had a response after submitting statements 27th October, so can tell in my situation it did put me to the back of the line.
It seems like these things are just based on which NVC officer picks up your case - some people resubmit and get passed in 4 days, others sit waiting for months (like me!). Hopefully you get yours quickly without waiting too long - it's a killer!

Hey guys I've been following this thread and others for a while. I'm new to this and well nervous, I got an original submission of October 10th 2021 seeing how people got DQ from oct 9-11th I'm a bit worried if nvc may have missed me or if I have gotten pushed to the back of the line since I've added additional documents fixing a mistake to previously submitted ones (wrong way up) should I be calm and wait until Friday then contact nvc next week if nothing has been heard from them?

Return transcript.
Latest tax year is required (2020 - 2021 tax will be latest after April 15, 2022).
The 2 previous years are optional (2019, 2018). You may include these if they help show a history of earning the qualifying income.
EDIT:. W2 is not required if you submit the tax return transcript.

There's typically a +/- 2 week window that they review, there's no need to worry, some people get reviewed early whereas others late.
I'd say log in and check for any updates to your case on the portal (Just in case spam has filtered your email), otherwise get in touch next week at some point if still no progress.
Good luck!

You are getting answers, but still not reading and following instructions. Doing so will be critical to your ultimate success. If you don't carefully study instructions, you won't know what you don't understand, won't know what to ask.

ali.cha reacted to Thomas1988 in Uploading additional Docs to CEAC after submitting (before review)
CR1
Fees - July 2nd
DS260 - July 9
All Required Docs - July 20 (that's what counted, when their "combo" was complete)
Additional Document - Sept 9
In fact, I thought that the best case scenario would be if they reviewed my July 20 documents, and then ignored my additional document until this new submission was reviewed, but they even reviewed and accepted the Sept 9 document based on my July 20 date.

ali.cha got a reaction from Southern_Belle07 in I-130 December filer
I am a November filler, but NOA was issued on December 2nd and it is in TX lockbox. It's going to hit the 8th month and no updates so far. Based on the processing timeline on the website, they started reviewing September cases. I pray i'll get good news in a month or so.
