  1. Had a house full. My daughter and her husband and her 1 year old twins and husband’s sister, my son and his wife and their 4 and 6 year old girls, my wife’s daughter and husband and their 5 and 7 year old boys AND a friend of theirs and his 7 year old son (just found out about them a week ago). My 91 year old mother refused to come saying she couldn’t handle all those kids. My wife had also invited my ex-wife but she said she already had “another obligation”. LOL Started drinking early and often, but had to keep it a little under control being the host and chief cook. I’ll have to say the pizza was excellent….just kidding, but the turkeys were truly excellent. We ate outside by the pool. The pool was a little chilly for my liking, just 83. The limitations of solar pool heating but the kids were happy. My step daughter took a group table side photo and when she sends it to me I will post it. Guess I’m getting to be a grumpy old man as I can’t wait for the step daughter and her family and friends leave. They said they are going back tomorrow. Fortunately my daughter lives 15 minutes away and my son and his family are staying with her.
  2. I was just thinking positively for you. Good luck with the dating.
  3. I'm sure they will be a big hit in Texas.... And I'll bet your new girlfriend will love it.
  4. About 22.5 million people
  5. Just the thought (or maybe the smell) is breath taking.
  6. 🤮
  7. Yes, married a few weeks when we applied and received card after about 6 or 7 months.
  8. This is a bit like what we went through. My wife came on a K-1 and her (first) green card was a 10 year. We inquired and jumped through hoops only to be told we didn't need to remove conditions. We decided to just go with it. There was never an issue at naturalization.
  9. No big deal. I did the same to get my dental license. No problem with that, right?
  10. ah, I see..... LOL So they are cougars?
  11. Do you think the DNC can get Soros to pay off the $20 million Harris campaign debt?
  12. Thanks I think it was a result of alcohol intake Who needs heat? Yesterdays low here was 74 Guess you were royally screwed The more I hear about Ex-Mrs. T-B the more I like her. LOL I've heard that's a common problem for Hispanic women. I like Coke Zero also. I run ours when away from home. Always amazed what it collects even after I run the old fashioned vacuum. Remember you get to subtract the fiber content from the total amount of carbs. Good luck on your junk quest.
  13. Today is my birthday so my wife blocked off today thru Monday at the office. We headed down here to the Keys after work last night. It's just the two of us and the little dog. That poor old dog doesn't travel well anymore. She used to be the best traveler but now at her elderly age she gets worked up and nervous and whines the whole time. Even the small dose of Valium didn't help. Going home we are going to up the dose. Why is it now that every time I am here the wind is blowing like crazy? Should have bought a sailboat. My son called me early this am to wish me a happy birthday (can't believe he finally remembered) and talk a bit about politics. As a full time Army National Guard he is thrilled with the choice of Pete Hegseth for Sec. of Defense. Shortly after that mama Neon called to let me know she is having problems, again with her i-phone ...7! It's not holding a charge well. Probably time to upgrade her to an i-phone 8. LOL Too windy to go out on the water so stayed around the house. Did one small repair project on the boat, made some food and brownies, watched some TV and internet, and took this strange thing they call a nap.
  14. I can see the need for tariffs, especially goods that are coming in from China and Mexico where average wages are exceptionally low compared with that in the US. It's killing manufacturing and jobs here. Just today I went to pick up a new car battery at Walmart. Noticed on top of the battery was a "Made in China" sticker. Americans are addicted to "cheap" stuff. (And that car battery wasn't all that cheap at $180)
  15. OP, beware of people telling you of fantastic processing times but are unwilling to fill in their timeline.
  16. I live in a solidly red town, so it's been business as usual. I regret I was working yesterday and didn't get to watch the View, not that I ever watch it but I do see clips of their nonsense from time to time on another network. I'll bet there was a group meltdown.
  17. I'll bet it was an explosive evening... I absolutely agree Sounds like he has one of those two wheel scooters like our 7 year old grandson has. LOL Same here. Got to go visit Mama Neon and do the same, and get the same lecture.
  18. What are you expecting seeing how YOU haven't even filled out your timeline.
  19. Might be easier to get added to your partners bank account. At least initially, then open your own later if needed.
  20. Google Aldi buys Winn Dixie
  21. Have you no compassion for folks with early dementia? Don't let that stop you. LOL I beat all those lazy slackers that are still in bed. Who needs that much sleep anyway? 👍 But such a limited selection. Been to their small store a couple of times. Don't plan on going back. The sad news is that Aldi bought the Winn Dixie's here in FL. I'm in the Keys right now and on our island there is a surprisingly good Winn Dixie. Still unclear if it will stay a (large) Winn Dixie or be converted to a (tiny) Aldi. We are all hoping it stays as is since the next closest grocery store is 25 miles away.
  22. Saves me time and a LOT of money, especially on groceries.
  23. But is she cute? I shop in person at Walmart a couple of times a week, usually Friday and Sunday at 6:00am. Perfect time as there are only a couple of other shoppers in the store at that time. Can get what I want and get out very quickly and easily. Won't go near the place after 8:00am Watch out for her husband...
