Thanks, and thanks TBoneTX for allowing me to "fling this rant and watch it stick" They did finally leave shortly after we returned from work. My wife and I are usually able to keep this large house clean and tidy by our selves, but my wife does have a cleaning lady on standby. Those kids managed to mess up all 4000 sq ft, and also the pool side in the back. Cleaning folks will be here tomorrow or the next day to get things back to normal.

It was a good time. I just wanted to "rant" and this seemed like the appropriate place.

A busy weekend and a busy Easter Sunday at our house. My wife's daughter and kids and husband arrived very late on Friday. Not sure why as they only live about an hour and a half away. Apparently something to do with the wacky Brit husband. Today, Easter, we had not only my step daughter's family but also my daughter and her little twins, and some of our Jewish friends and their little ones over for Easter egg hunting and a meal pool side followed by swimming in the pool. Really was a great time. Must have had a couple hundred plastic eggs with surprises inside for the kids to collect. Pizza, salads, drinks and desserts. Thought the step daughter and her family would be leaving in the early afternoon, but by 6:30 pm my wife asked me why they were still here. Guess they are staying another day or....? We will see. And the incredible mess they make of the house. Grrr

Let's go driving and burn up some (expensive) gas! 👍

The GLP-1's are very effective, but so would be a recurring case of the flu.

A lot of people seem to have good results with the GLP-1 meds... "Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting, typically manageable over time." LOL NO WAY. I'm not going to contaminate my new machine.

Here I am in the Keys, and the portable, battery operated, USB rechargeable frozen margarita maker is working great. Only one problem. Turns out I don't really like margaritas very much! After searching the internet I did stumble across a very nice recipe for an "adult" frozen coffee drink. Have had several of those. Now it's time to try some other drinks. I'll let you know what's good.

How things have changed over the years. When I was in high school there were two school buses that serviced our neighborhood because of the number of kids. The bus that stopped closest to my house always came at least 5 minutes earlier than the other. I do recall a few times when I was running late I saw my bus leave without me. No problem, just run to the stop for the other bus even though it meant cutting through several neighbors yards. Same applied to returning home. Just pick a bus and go, or if going to a classmates home in a different neighborhood just hop on their bus with them. I wonder how we ever survived.

ICE agents have been dispatched to 13 airports to assist TSA. I was surprised to see that our airport in Fort Myers was one of them. Ordered and delivered by Walmart.com and a MUCH better price than Amazon. (I've noticed lately that Amazon prices are now often higher than other sellers) Going to the Keys next Wednesday and will be doing some boating and sand bar partying and should be able to give this machine a good workout.
