  1. Oh, I know they will be back, but probably without the father.
  2. That's right. When the milk smells a little funky and pours out chunky, time's up.
  3. I think in the US they call that "skid marks".
  4. I've fallen into that trap before...
  5. NO. Perhaps OK for topping a hot dog. YES. Great go to meal this time of year. Think I'll make a huge pot of chili when I get home. Thanks for the idea. Ah yes, I remember this movie very well. You know much of this movie was filmed in Louisville KY and just down the road at Fort Knox. I was a first year dental student at the U. of Louisville and the downtown scenes and the bridge scene were filmed just a few blocks away from the school. I so much wanted to walk over there and watch what I could, but I really needed to study. That first year is VERY intense. I will tell you that while they filmed the bridge scene I was in the gross anatomy lab. I kept looking out the window but really couldn't see anything. Some buildings were in the way. I've been sleeping later each day since coming here to the Keys two days before Christmas. Now only getting up when the sun starts to rise. I'm feeling a little guilty for staying in bed so long.
  6. Good to see you still have control over her. Wife and I shared one bag of microwave popcorn. And Happy New Year to all also. Actually only had one drink. A toast between the wife and I.
  7. Probably, but I can sleep through that. We had that this past weekend right across the canal. I think it was some kind of big party. And by the way, what are billibeters? Perhaps I should ask NB?
  8. I'm watching the Ohio State Miami football game. I expect to fall asleep before the end of the game and wake up around 1 am.
  9. Good news The heat, an ac/heat pump, is working perfectly. Bad news I only have one long sleeve shirt. It's a fishing shirt meant to keep the sun off the arms. Also have a long sleeve swimming rash guard top but that won't help much. I do at least have a sweatshirt. Life is so difficult.
  10. Don't forget that Costco sells Kirkland brand underwear in case the thrift store is out of Mini-B's size. Chilly down here in the Keys. 60 degrees the morning. Inside temp is 66 so it's time to see if the heat is working. Haven't had to use it for at least a year. If not I'm hopping back under the covers to snuggle and share body warmth. Fortunately I do also have the electric mattress heater. It's heaven.
  11. I learned long ago that embassies and consular officers have a great deal of independence and if they made a decision they feel is correct then it is VERY unlikely anyone is going to get them to change their decision. Proceed with the waiver.
  12. I don't know if things have changed, but if you didn't have 14 days left on your I-94 SSA, would not issue a SSN until the EAD or green card.
  13. I do have them but if I'm not looking at the app on the phone because I'm dozing after dosing (was it Bourbon?) then ...surprise!
  14. My wife would NEVER wear Birkenstocks
  15. That's what I was wondering.
  16. She is pretty hot
  17. It's a (late) Christmas miracle. A silver lining. The squatting family with the awful kids suddenly decided to leave. Was it something I did or said?...LOL Just a day after I learned they were staying until Jan 4th, they packed up and went home. Could it be because I criticized they way they feed their kids garbage food (sorry TBoneTX), or because I questioned their parenting skills, or arguing about the British father's crazy liberal ideas? Perhaps the last straw was when the one kid wanted apple juice and the father said we didn't have any. I said we sure do, I brought an unopened bottle down from home. The father had seen it in the fridge and noticed the "Best before Nov 30th" on the bottle and said it was expired and no good. I told him it had never been opened and always refrigerated. I opened it, smelled it, and poured the kid a glass. Father lost it. I started to explain that the "Best by" label was meaningless and that TBoneTX would drink it but it was a worthless conversation. Was very shortly thereafter that he started packing up the mess they had created. My wife was quite surprised too. And within an hour or so they were gone! Sadly my daughter called and said they would not be coming down because one of the twins had a terrible ear infection. Was so bad there was green pus oozing from the ear. Now on antibiotics and ear drops. Apparently now has a ruptured ear drum. Looks like it will be just my wife and I for the rest of the week. Starting tomorrow I'm going to have to find my long sleeve shirt and long pants. Certainly go to have to count on shared body warmth.
  18. I've had that ticket for the last several years. It's one of the "perks" that comes with getting older.
  19. My wife has never put her cold feet on my back... Hmm, maybe I'm missing out on something a little wild?
  20. My wife always accuses me of choosing her just so she can keep me warm. I tell her if staying warm was the number one priority I would have found an XXL gal from Texas (everything is bigger in Texas). How does one sound tired in a text?
  21. Our condolences on your loss. We hate winter too. New Years eve it's going to drop Many (2 x 2 x 2) degrees. Burr (Raymond). Yeah, yeah I know...Perry Mason or Ironside? My plans for New Years Eve are to snuggle close to my rubia to stay warm.
  22. I have single citizenship here but my wife made sure I had neuterization.
