You'll be required to submit ALL court and police records. Since these look like stupid things "minors" do, and it was long ago without any current "misdemeanors or crimes" I believe you will be fine. The most important thing is to be honest and forthright with your information both at the application time and the interview. Even if you think something is minor and isn't showing in any record, the FBI will have your "case(s)" in their database which will be scanned after you submit your I-129f, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) by USCIS. It's one of the steps in adjudicating your visa application. You must submit ALL items from the police and from the courts showing the disposition of your case(s). Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

After submitting your I-751, USCIS will send you an extension letter which extends the expiration date on your card for 18 months.  The extension letter must be used with the expired card.

Processing time for the I-751 could be quite long.

Thank You for your reply. I mentioned in my E-mail to Ankara Embassy that My case is a Fiance visa. And as you can see they replied me that your I-129F (which is a K1 visa form) is not here yet.

The best thing is to wait and see what is going on .

After going over this half-brother issue with my fiance  it turned out that she did listed him on the I-129F,( my bad)  however; according with the subsequent phone call from the embassy , the CO forgot to go over some questions about him at the time of the interview, and that was what the phone was all about: to corroborate existing information and to  get more if possible.

    thanks

This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case on wards to your Embassy.  Contained in the PDF below are many tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way.

These are items that everyone asks for, so I thought I just post a PDF of them here for you to refer to when it's necessary. If you are new to this thread please read as these are most asked questions multiple times.

    Visa Payment System information:

There is indeed a cash pay option but i wanted to do it online so i clicked on the "provide feedback" option and explained my situation and they said to wait 24 hours as well! Here is what they said about the cards: "In addition, please note that our payment gateway is set-up to process the following branded cards:

    1. VISA Debit
    2. VISA Electron
    3. MasterCard Debit
    4. Maestro

Just because a card is branded with VISA/MasterCard does not automatically mean it is a debit card. Many of the refusals we have seen are V/MC branded Credit Cards which we never accept.

In addition, there are several domestic debit card schemes that are available in the region. Each of these card schemes must have the following features to be accepted online:
    1. Co-branded with VISA/MasterCard(Maestro) – i.e. they must have one of these logos on the card.
    2. Contain a CVV number (this is the three-digit number on the back of the card).

If they do not have both these features, they will not be accepted. "

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Follow what is in this document until such time that your embassy issues any other documents outlining the procedures. This is what others have received and are using for your embassy.

From your question I can see you haven't read the PDF on the first page from the first post. There in is the statement to ask for the P3 from Greenbaum. I just happen to be scanning this thread and saw your post. Here is the information you requested. I highly recommend you get the PDF as it has items that you currently should be knowledgeable about.

I do not have a copy of the P3 from Kuwait but have been able to find information that will help you begin to think and gather documents for your interview from the Kuwaiti US embassy website.

Information for K-1 visa. This is not the P3 letter as that will be forthcoming from the embassy once your case file arrives.
    Nonimmigrant Visa for a Fianc(é)e (K-1) (state.gov)

These are the common items that you will do and prepare for the interview. Again, this is not the P3 letter.

This topic is outlined thoroughly on the USCIS website found here: Search (state.gov)

If you failed to list a key item in your I-129f, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) and or at the interview then you will be in AP for the length of time that the CO needs to vet your application with this newfound information. If the information checks out without any issues, then you will move forward. But, if the CO deems the information adds additional questions to the applicant's intentions as the CO views it, the visa can be refused.

If you have no issues, then your visa will go through AP which is normally the CO having to tie up any loose ends before issuing the visa.

No one with any certainty can tell you when yours will finish adjudication. Being a student of VJ, as I am, I have learned that AP can be as little as 2 hours and some more than a year. No one can explain why that is other than what we read in the regulations from USCIS.

Is it fair? In your eyes no it is not. In the eyes of the CO, it's a necessary step in the process to issue a visa. CO's do not want a case to go "bad" once the applicant arrives in the US. A good example is the San Bernadino terrorist attach a few years back.

The best way is to travel on the B1/B2 and in the likelihood that you marry than she returns to her country and you file a CR-1/IR-1. Much faster and the two caveats is that she will have a GC and SSN shortly after arriving with the CR-1/IR-1 visa. A K-1 right now are waiting up to a year for employment authorization and not able to get an SSN because the SS offices are not taking in person meetings. Last benefit of the CR-1/IR-1 is that it is less expensive than the K-1.

Referring to the PDF file on the first page you are not going to get a reply for an inquiry but often others have reported that they did receive an email once their case number and file was shipped to the embassy as well as a formal letter. The PDF is only advocating to update your email to receive correspondence from NVC and your embassy via email.

Yes, NVC only sends an email if they have your email address and then that only happens sporadically. "your mileage may vary" They do however advise you that your file has been transferred to your embassy with your invoice and case numbers via snail mail.

Very difficult after your marriage as they will tell you that you have to wait till you have completed AOS. That's why it's better to do it with your maiden name before the marriage and then once you are married return with the necessary documents (refer to their website for this information) and change your name.

Why can't you go to him and get married? Or if you have meet within the last 2 years file a K1. If you don't meet the income guidelines you will need to get a joint sponsor that meets guidelines for their household size plus him.

And he can come to US and you get married and go back and you file for spousal visa. so you have 3 options.

I can tell you from looking at what is being receipted right now, unless you are a very lucky outlier plan on a short timeframe of 2 months, and an average timeframe of closer to 3 months. All I-129F's given an NOA-1 yesterday were delivered to the Lockbox in October.

And I too was talking about the I-129f, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) package. Everything that you submit that is revelent to the process is scanned and in the system for anyone who is adjudicating your case INCLUDING THE EMBASSY who does have the last say as to whether you get a visa or not. So, tread lightly on your submission. I'm trying to help you not make a mistake that others have made. Take it or leave it but because you are not well verse in this process don't discount what someone opines.

We have lots of info on NOA1's being released. Though it's slow no one can articulate why there has been a slowdown. Most of this process has been revealed but only by what others have reported. I recommend that you become a student of some of the different topics to learn more. Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

This question does not pertain to K-1 visa applicants but because this document is trying to serve two different communities, immigrant and non-immigrant, it is nevertheless on the form.

In the new revised I-134 form dated 2/28/2021 - Question #38 now regards contributions.  You leave the yes/no boxes "unchecked" and your explanation is submitted in Part 7 on page 8 of the new form.

    You will do this:
    3.a. "Page 4"
    3.b. "Part Number 3"
    3.c. "Item Number 38"
3.d. "N/A (K1 Visa Process For Permanent Residence)"

This topic is like a dog chasing its tail. Let me explain what is happening with "refused" conditions.

Having applied for US Visa and received 221g Administrative Processing for your case, you would have checked your visa status on CEAC website. When you check the status, you used to see status of “Administrative processing”, but that would have changed to “refused” from March 3, 2020. Many users have reported and its verified as well that most of the 221g Cases status has changed to “Refused”, even when there was no real update on their ‘Case Last Updated Date’ or anything has changed. One key thing to note is the text under it has changed. It reads like below now.

“A U.S. Consular Officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies and that you will be contacted if additional information is needed. For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV or the website for the Embassy or Consulate at which you made your visa application. For more information, please visit U.S. Consulate General <Consulate name>”

Pay close attention to the bold text, it basically tells that, if you were given Administrative processing, then it will be processed in administrative processing.
