Recieved K1 Visa Packet 3 In the mail

Hello Everyone! Bonsoir tout moun! So I just received packet 3 on Dec 30, but it’s been sent out since Dec 7th, 2020. The packet has instructions on paperwork my fiance needs to bring for the interview! And they sent him to finally do his medical in Haiti 🇭🇹, and payed a fee of $285. So now he has to go back next week to get his results! Once he gets his results, they will send it to the embassy, then we can send out our last Packet to the Haiti Embassy, then they will schedule his interview! I’m so happy that things are opening back up, so if you guys are in my situation, don’t lose faith, keep calling the embassy, cause alot of people are getting their K1 visas right now!  Best of luck to you all! 🙏🏾

This is good news for you. I have a question. If he has taken the medical, why does he need to return to forward the medical onward to the embassy. Doesn't the medical exam facility have that responsibility as most other countries I have come to know do it that way. Thanks for your reply.

Hello, I’m guessing the rules in Haiti have changed now. I guess every country is different.

Yes, every country can be different, and many are. But, in six years this is the first time that I heard of someone had to return to the medical facility to hand carry their medical exam results to the embassy. I learn something new every day. Thanks for your reply. 

 

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile.
