Had a great birthday. Worked out this morning. Made a healthy breakfast. Lounged around until it was time to get my hair done. Did that and showed her what I want to do next time.  Then ate all the ####### foods. LOL. Wings, one set with honey bbq, one set with honey mustard, onion rings, carrots and celery, and then cheese cake and some Ferraro rocher.  Hubs got me a funny card and a fit bit versa 3 and chocolate. Only one of his presents arrived in time. We watched Harry Potter. I’m happy. 

they didn’t want me working 60 hours this week. Someone quit half way through a shift for personal reasons. I opened and closed that day and then came in for 6 hours in my day off. Thankfully one of them came in for the 3am floor fixing.  I think I owe them pizza but I bought them chocolate.   I have a good group for the most part. A few outliers but that’s normal.

Plumber's been. On walking up to the side of the house, he said he could hear a leak. Hear it. He must have the hearing of a bat, I suppose after 40 years in the business he would do. I couldn't hear it looking at it.  He found a little burst pipe, just inside the crawlspace.
The hot water heater is fine, and so is the element. The leak was draining away enough that the water heater couldn't catch up.
 
He also put the tub faucet back on. When I spoke to him earlier in the week, he said to let all the taps continue to drip, including in the bath. I only use the shower over the bath, and so that is where the diverter on the faucet was set. It wouldn't budge, so I gave it a good sharp smack, and it came off in my hand. Oops.  All up, $164.00. I was shocked, thinking it would be well more than that.  Himself apparently did a good enough job of insulating the pipes, as far as he went. There is a stretch he couldn't get to that has none, so I will look after that myself in better weather.

I guess I am confused.  Why can’t the person abandoning their GC mail their I407 and GC to the USCIS address while in the US soon before they depart?  The person doing this does not need their GC to leave the country.

You can also love your spouse and love someone else at the same time. This is one of the definitions of polyamory.

Quick addition, I know Love and Loving is mentioned on heer quite a bit but I have not come across either in the regulations.

You don't seem to understand the concept of polygamy when it comes to the law. It has a real legal meaning, and it doesn't include regular old cheating. Being a polygamist = bar to becoming a citizen. Being a cheater = not a bar to becoming a citizen.
 
I like to give personal examples because I think real life experience can be a way of telling a story that's more accessible and easier to parse. Also I like paragraphs.

You are confusing polygamy with polyamory/cheating. You can't be a polygamist unless you're married to more than one person. Cheating isn't illegal -- polygamy is.
 
You're also making a whole lot of presumptions. How do you know that when he filed the petition he didn't plan on staying in the marriage? How do you know when he went to the interview he wasn't planning on staying in the marriage? My ex had no intention of divorcing me the whole time he was cheating on me. It wasn't until he got obsessed with the idea that I was cheating that he was done. If that had not happened, I have no doubt I'd still be married to him and he'd be having his affairs. 
 
Being faithful isn't part of the equation for citizenship. We can't presume anything here because we don't have a lot of facts.

Sometimes really bad stuff happens that is just really bad stuff in a marriage, not fraud. My ex (who came over on a K1) accused me of cheating on him and moved out, when in fact it was the other way around. He cut off my access to all my funds (I was only an authorized user on his credit cards) and pretty much emptied our one joint bank account. He was an abusive monster. But we entered our marriage in good faith, it just ended poorly. He applied for citizenship soon after he left me and I was ecstatic when he was sworn in because it was another tie between us severed. Believe me, when all this went down, everyone around me started accusing him of fraud, but it was just a bad thing that happened.
 
Also for it to be polygamy, you have to married to more than one person. Being a polyamorous person isn't a bar to becoming a citizen. 

Maybe.  If obtaining immigration benefits was the sole reason for the marriage, then it could be classified as fraud.

The hot water taps, having both been left open as they say you are meant to do, came on with a hiss and a roar yesterday. Not hot water though, just slightly warmer than the cold taps, those have run since the start. My thinking was, well it has been very cold, it will take time to heat.
It's been 24 hours, and no joy, I have checked all I can, done what I could. I have called a plumber, and in is opinion it is most likely the element(s). He can come and fix it for me,  but cannot get here until Saturday morning. Not just because the place is busy, they are in fact not sending anyone out at all until the roads improve.
 
I am ok with that. Not seen anything on the road out in front since Monday. The power has stayed on the entire time, and I can heat water in the interim.  Just tired of it all.

It's 1pm. 
This morning I asked my wife for tea. We ran out of tea bags. The Walgreens is 400 paces away. The supermarket is 300. I still don't have ...

THe chickens are well chickens. THey wouldn't come out of their coop this morning. Daughter had to grab a few and show them that the big blanket of white stuff is not in their run. Once a few came out the rest followed. I have more eggs in the house then kroger and walmart across the state does atm lmao. 
 
 
Ah most don't insulate the hot water pipes. Thinking the pipes stay hot. Could be what happened. If you do have cold then it is not likely frozen on the city's end  I wouldn't bother trying to thaw them just yet you could burst one and have a bigger mess. Sadly shallow lines here in AR just don't tolerate the cold much.
 
 
 
I can't believe how cold and how much snow we got here. I think the Hillbilly said it is a record never before seen. 
 
My inlaws have been here since Sunday night. They don't have heat and the back end of their house has caved in, so we made them come here to stay warm. His mom is trying to go home saying once the roads are safe. It's not just the ice, it's freezing out there and no electric blank and space heater is going to keep you warm. They've been sleeping with their winter coats on and she still thinks it's safe to go home. Thankfully FIL has enough sense to not listen to her so far. 
 
 

True. In spite of my attempts to keep it from happening my pipes are frozen. I did all the appropriate things. Heat tape on, has been since Christmas, pipes are insulated, Himself did that and it is intact. I left the water to dribble into the bathroom and kitchen sinks Saturday night. No water since I got up yesterday morning. Well...some water. The cold taps both are running, it's just the hot that isn't.  I put the little space heater into the crawl space, and ran it all afternoon yesterday, but it didn't help. And if I couldn't thaw them yesterday when it was eighteen, no way can I thaw them today when it is ten. Meant to be - six overnight. At this point all I can do is wait it out.
 
We had roughly four inches of snow, and there are still flurries.  Meant to be more coming mid-week. The temps are not going to get above freezing until Friday. So far the power has not been a problem. I have got a camp stove and a propane heater if it fails.
 
Herself was fine yesterday when there was just a little snow on the grass. Today not so much.  She comes in covered in little snowballs. I can say that the snow in the back yard is ¾ of a Yorkie deep.
