US Immigration from Philippines

Philippine CFO is asking a proof of no marriage from me, the US petitioner. I have never been married before and when I contacted my county clerk, they had no idea what I am talking about.

Some quick googling, I found a template for Single Status Affidavit Form that I have to get notarize and apostille.

Has anybody done this before? What are other forms of proof of single status?

It appears they are trying to make it easier obtain a recognized divorce.

The state government is messed up just like the official government.

The wife received snail mail from the new mexico health department already due to her abnormal chest xrays she had in march that triggered the sputum test which all come back negative. They are requesting her to bring in her medical records and chest x-rays from overseas to be checked out for possible TB infection. Lol

How do they think we can get access to that info when it is in the Government already?

Not sure if this is the right forum to ask but didn't see another that fit. My friend's 17yo daughter has had a 10 year GC since she was 12 and is wanting to get her driving permit. After passing the written test she was told she would have to get her biometrics updated even though the card was still valid. After research he found there was like a 6 month window it could have been done free when she turned 16 but since they had no idea they needed to do that, they didn't. So now they're having to go through the whole I-485 process again to get a DL. Is this correct? Can anything be done to expedite it or reduce the cost? Thanks.

Hello. In order. to get our son dual citizenship, we filled out a report of birth for our son (mother is Philippine citizen). We filed at the Chicago Philippine consulate through mail. Our first attempt they returned everything with some strange edits like changing our son's place of birth and making him name to have 2 first names instead of 2 middle names. Not a big deal, we just changed to what they wanted. Oddly enough when we got married they changed my name also to become 2 first names and 0 middle names. I guess they want the cultural naming conventions.

This time around, they simply mailed us a copy of the forms and required evidence. 4 copies were required of all, so it looks like we get 1. They signed the bottom There was no letter or anything. It seems to me it was accepted and they provided a receipt for the payment. Should we expect to receive any further documentation? How do we know when he is a citizen of the Philippines?
