My appointment was at 7:30 am, but they let me in around 7 am in the US Embassy. I was able to finish everything by 8:30 am. Overall, everything went pretty smoothly. You don't need to bring a mask or a pen. I also used the services of Baggage Keepers nearby the US Embassy where you can store your stuff, like phone and keys. Given that it is not allowed to bring inside the Embassy, they're also very well aware of this and have a signage of what items are prohibited inside the Embassy so you can decide which items to keep inside the lockers. It's also only PHP 150.00 for small ones, very handy.
The consulate on window 53 was a very nice person. He didn't give me a hard time, and only a few questions. Some of these questions were:
1. How did you and your wife meet?

My schedule appointment was June 17, 2025 at 7:30, it was a nerve wracking and nervous day for me but by God’s grace I was able to pull through it ??. The consul that interviewed me was a Black American Male, he was very friendly. I was intimidated at first but as soon as he started to laugh to one of my answers I then feel relax but still nervous. For me it was like a stranger asking me about my love life. I was asked 5 questions (mostly just about me and my fiancé including dates of first meet and date of engagement) I couldn’t understand him really well but I was able to get through it.
And for you, who’s reading this, I know you’re nervous but I know you got this, as long as you know your partner and the important dates you to shared, you CAN MAKE IT! and don’t forget to Pray ??

Good morning,
My fiancee had the interview on Tuesday, June 17th.
I’m happy to say that she was approved. The process has been over 10 months.
I can’t wait to see her in person in the US.
