They were concerned about my 2 prior divorces (last 9 years ago after 14 years of marriage) and the fact that she has a 4yo daughter. The counsler wants all the facts surrounding my divorces. They also concerned about why that marriage did not result in any children. Totally intursive and ridiculous.

Hello, My mother's case has been DQ'd since April 30th. I am petitioning her to get her here in the USA . I am also a Naturalized citizen. I called NVC today and he said that the Manila Embassy isnt interviewing new cases, only the ones with the scheduled interview already that was cancelled due to covid. is this true? has anybody here who are DQ'd this year and got an embassy interview date yet? Its been more than a year since I started the process and we are still waiting.

Visa Class|: IW1 (Widower of US Citizen) Converted from CR1

Sept12, 2021- interview in Riyadh Embassy (221g refused) they need original death certificate of my husband but they kept my passport.

Sept27- they received the original document.

Oct20- my status changed to Ready

Oct21-changes to AP

OCt26-Issued

Thanks God. it was a long journey.

After 22 months our paperwork is finally being sent to the Manila embassy. Only a matter of weeks now right? Right?!

My trip next month is fast approaching, I just received my 9a visa from the Philippine consulate here in Houston. I am hoping the drop the LGU requirement for Bacolod but not holding my breath, they are alert level 2 for covid and still have not dropped the S Pass requirement. Does anyone have experience with dealing with their LGU and how does airport pick up work? I have seen some YouTube videos saying the LGU picks you up from the province airports. There is just so much conflicting information out there on the LGU's and each one is different.
