Just checked my husband's online account and his case has been approved!  New green card is processing!  Now the plan is to apply for citizenship as soon as he can.  I'm so shocked it happened this quickly!!

Congratulations!! That’s huge. Are you military by any chance?

So my husabnds resident card was already expired- so in order for him to leave the country do we bring that extension letter with us?

He doesn't need anything other then valid passport to leave the US by air or driver license to leave by land.

However, to return to the US he needs:

1) Valid passport (if travelling by air)

2) Expired GC (original)

3) Extension letter (original, all pages)

Hi, I'm new to the group, should probably be in December group since I shipped mine Dec 14 but I didn't get any sign on my account until Feb 12 after inquiring, which is about 2 months later. I received the extension and the biometric reuse documents and the current status is that it's being actively reviewed. I was just wondering, for the people who have had theirs approved, I'm assuming without an interview, was your interview waived initially when you applied for the green card in the first place or did you attend an interview to get your initial green card?
